Amazon products are top of the line

My husband has purchased this item before at a local store, so he was happy to see the same item offered on Amazon. However this same brand offered via Amazon had a STRONG unpleasant smell (something like maple syrup left out too long in the sun). The pills purchased locally had no smell and were a much lighter color than the ones sent via Amazon. I think these pills may have been damaged or made by a different manufacturer. I would not recommend purchasing them as a result.
