The exterior is still glossy and has a nice shine (I don't put this in the dishwasher). If anything sticks – rare – I just add water with a little soap, and the next morning, it cleans very easily and thoroughly. Of course, the interior slowly picks up that light bronze-ish color over time, like all 'stainless.' Barkeeper's Friend is much faster than the vinegar/baking soda method. Note that the handles will eventually become hot on medium-high heat. Medium or lower, they remain cool. I would buy more Tramontina products.
