Fits well
When I saw the tiny opening I thought they wouldn’t fit but the rubber end adapted to the spike on the cello end piece. I just firmly twisted it on as far as it would go. Works beautifully. Thank you.

A little snug but do the job.
After reading several reviews I was pretty confident that these tips would fit on our Cello endpin. It took some effort to get in on but in hindsight if I had lubricated the endpin with a little soap my task would have been easier. I like that there are 4 of them so there are spares.

Before you send these back, here are some tips:
These can be difficult to replace, but with a few tips you can do it. There are 2 types of cello feet: smooth shaft, and threaded. For the smooth shaft, use a bit of water with a hint of soap in it for lubrication. For the threaded type; while pushing the rubber tip on to the shaft, twist the tip to thread it on until it gets started as you would any other threaded cap. Some soft bar soap on the threaded shaft may help to get it started.

Helpful that they are longer
Bought these because my son’s endpin poked through his last cap. They are a bit longer so we don’t anticipate that being a problem anymore. Good to have a couple extras on hand as well

Works on my bass
These tips seem pretty good. They're 25 mm long, end to end. The hole is 5.5 mm in diameter. My pin is 16 mm into the bass, but has a collar, and then the point is 7.5 mm diameter, by -- something less than 25 mm long... So, a very tight fit. Some lube will help. Got it almost up to the collar, and setting the bass on the tip pressed it to the collar. I'm happy. My old one was splitting. And you get 4. So assuming that this will reasonably not last forever, you have spares. It has been in a few days only, but so far, has not split or anything...even though I am stretching this 2mm... Works for me!

Great replacement
Fits my used cello well. No longer scratching up my floor . I'm pleased & there's 4 in a pack. (Hope this doesn't mean they fall off easily).

Fits my upright bass
Nice! I have a 3/4 double base with an older, narrow endpin tip of 7mm. Typical bass tips are too large. I bought this based on the measurements in the description and it fit perfectly. Interestingly enough, my son plays a a1/2 cello, and the tips were almost too large for his endpin (I tried just out of curiosity), so measure carefully! A regular ruler will be accurate enough to get you in the ballpark.

Check the diameter of your end pin
Cello end pins come in different sizes. These rubber tips work fine on a cello with an end pin that is about 6 mm in diameter, but do not fit on a cello end pin that is 12 mm in diameter. I have seen these two sizes. Not sure what else is out there. If the seller is going to charge this much money for a piece of rubber they should make these size restrictions clear instead of implying that the tips will universally fit any cello, and should provide a range of end pin sizes that these rubber tips could be expected to fit.
