Blue Handworks Glass Waterfall Wind Chime, Ocean Blue

The inly thing that would be nicer is the wood. It would be nicer as drift wood and this is just an aged wood. The glass is pretty though and makes a pretty sound in the wind.

The media could not be loaded.  I live in Seattle and we get a lot of rain and storms. I bought one of these maybe 5 years ago, hung it up outside, and it has survived rain, wind, snow, and even the occasional hail. It still looks beautiful through it all. Only problem was we had a very severe wind storm a few months ago which actually blew it out of the tree (had it on an S hook) and about 4 of the leaves broke. It's been through other wind storms and survived fine, but falling was too much for it. It still looks good, and I'm going to hang it back up, but I'm buying a second one because I love it so much and don't want to be without one. I love the soft tinkling of the glass too. The glass is colored glass and I've seen no fading or flaking. Mine is 9" wide, 6" from the hanging ring to the driftwood, and 15" from the driftwood to the bottom leaf point. I consider it a substantial size! I really love it. Here are pictures, and you might notice the leaves that were broken in the fall. Also, measured it for you.

The glass pieces are beautiful and their colors just as pictured. The wood piece is NOT driftwood, not even close. When viewed from afar, it still doesn't look like driftwood. I kept this only for the glass pieces. I removed the orange string that was not clear in the description or photo and detracted from the design, replacing it with clear fishing wire. Then I replaced the wood with a tree branch. After doing all that work, I should have just crafted this myself. But alas, I have no way of creating the glass pieces. I believe the picture and the description should be updated to reflect the color of string and the actual piece of scrap wood that is used. Know what you are buying.

This item is stunningly gorgeous and packed so well for shipping that it arrived unscathed. It sounds beautiful! A perfect addition to my ocean-theme pool deck... until I dropped it within seconds of hanging it up and it shattered into a million pieces. Totally my fault, so hang this carefully and sturdily and don't let it slip, or your heart will be broken as mine is and my stunning sea glass leaves are.Will be buying another to make up for my own stupidity.

This wind chime is so pretty. The wood is a bit smaller than I hoped but once the glass chimes were unpacked it became a waterfall of blue ripples, just what I wanted to look like Bora Bora waters, a gift for a couple that just came back from there. The glass is breathtaking. Good size and beautiful sounds. It will look amazing in their tropical yard.Everything was packed perfect. I am a happy customer
