Q: what size drill bit do you need to install this into porcelain tile?

Depends on the size screw and anchor you use. I like to use the little plastic anchors and cut the flange off so the anchor sits flush against the tile. The anchors usually tell you the size of the hole on the packaging. don't go too fast or push too hard or you will crack your tile. Keep the bit cool with a small cup of water you can dip the bit in. Hope that helps.
