I am giving this product 5 stars because it's exactly what it claims to be. The instructions clearly state to add to a drink to dilute the flavor, but I prefer to just take it straight and chase it immediately after. It does not taste good. It's like taking a shot of a liquid penny, but it's still worse than you can imagine. I take a lot of supplements that don't necessarily taste good, but I typically get used to them and find I don't mind the taste once I get used to it. I can't say that for this, as well as a liquid zinc supplement from a different company. Both of them are rough to take, but luckily I can get the taste out of my mouth pretty quickly by following up with my protein shake. I tried some capsule supplements for zinc and copper, but I didn't like the capsule ingredients and haven't been able to find a plain gelatin capsule zinc/copper supplement. I tried adding the contents of the capsules to the protein shake and the metals were too tangy and kind of ruined the whole shake. Currently, I'm still searching for the next option to try. This is lasting a good amount of time, but I also only take 1 dropper full per day.

The taste is really tough to handle, I'm mixing it with the liquid multivitamin I also purchased to reduce the horrible taste. But I guess things that are good for you, to some degree taste horrible.

I struggle with iron absorption and the Trace Minerals Ionic Copper liquid supplement helped me within the first 20 min of taking it. I felt my energy levels increase to a more normal level. Definitely going to keep taking this! I drop the liquid in with my coffee to mask the copper penny taste. No complaints!
