I bought a pair of these shocks because one of the original shocks on my truck had failed. Replaced them both and a month later the one on the driver's side failed.

The front shocks on this 1981 F100 were junk! They weren't shocks, they worthless metallic tubes bolted to the suspension. I have owned a 51 Jeep, 59 Chevy Fleetside, 69 F100, 79 F150 still own an 80 GMC K2500 4X4 and now this 81 F100 I know what it should drive like for a 1/2 truck and with new KYBs on the back and as of today the new Amazon supplied KYBs on the front, it drives like it should instead of a dead slush-bucket. The price was right, they restored the ride and improved the safety and met my expectations and I like them. I have a lot of experience with KYB products and so far I have never been disappointed in KYB.

These shocks fit my 1992 Ford f150 4x4 perfect and ride nicely. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because they don't come with the bolts and nuts to attach them. A trip to teh hardware store allievatated the problem, but jeesh, come on ya tightwads!
