## Overview

The HIC Kitchen Premium Perforated English Tea Strainer is a sleek, durable loose leaf infuser crafted from professional-grade Japanese stainless steel. Designed with a double-handle for secure, hands-free steeping, it fits most mugs and cups universally. Its precision perforations maximize water flow and flavor extraction while effectively filtering fine tea particles. Dishwasher safe and compact, it’s the perfect versatile companion for black, green, oolong, herbal teas, and even spice infusions, making every cup a refined experience.

## Description

HIC’s English Tea Strainer easily strains loose tea leaves from the brew when pouring steeped tea from a teapot or other tea steeping vessel. Pour a perfect cup of tea every time. The English Tea Strainer fits over the cup rim without holding it in place so hands stay safely away from hot contents. It efficiently catches tea leaves and strains tea for a cleaner brew. Simply rest the strainer on top of the cup. Pour the steeped tea from the teapot, or other steeping vessel, through the strainer and into the cup. A useful addition to kitchen utensils and tea accessories, it’s easy to use and empty. Made from Japanese stainless steel. Hand wash in warm, soapy water.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for Tea Time
*by T***N on 18 July 2026*

This creates tea out of boiling liquids. Congrats!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good price and tea strainer for a new full leaf tea drinker.
*by K***N on 7 January 2017*

I purchased this as a gift along with some whole leaf tea and a mug. It sits on the mug as it steeps and the handle is convenient to flip out the leaves when finished. It was much less pricey than the typical tea infusers I use in my pots and mugs but worked perfect for making the little daily mugs of tea I do. No smell or taste to worry about and sits as it should. I wouldn't use this for a big tea pot necessarily since I like to put on a lid and tea cozy to retain the heat as the tea steeps- and some family like stronger tea and would use my deeper strainer for that.
