Reasonably easy to use. You need to strip a little more length than usual as the strain relief hole may not fit over your cable. Easy to use the screws on the shielding and the main conductor although you need a very small tipped screwdriver. I had a set of jeweler's screwdrivers for tightening up my glasses and used one of those to loosen the screws and then tighten them down onto the connectors. Well made.

Painters broke my plug off at the subwoofer. Super easy fix with the instructions included. You will need a very small screw driver. Very pleased.

The center barrel of these connectors is small in diameter, which makes stranded wire -- such as you'll find in speaker wire -- quite difficult to insert, and outright impossible for even medium gauge speaker wire. The screw used to fix the wire in place in the center barrel is extremely small, and threaded such that in order to permit space to insert the wire, the screw has to be backed out to the point where it is in danger of dropping out. It's teensy, and would almost certainly be lost if you dropped it. Further, the center barrel is quite short, so you're left feeling that the connection is insecure.Overall, this would probably be a decent connector for coax, but I really cannot recommend it for any stranded wire. I was attempting to use this for 14 AWG speaker wire, and it was impossible. I suspect even 16 AWG would be impossible. Even 18 AWG you would likely want to tin the end before attempting.I would be less hard on the review if the product description made clear the limits of utility.

If one was going to say one negative thing about these is the center pin connection is slotted like a flat head screwdriver and it is incredibly small. I would ignore it and solder the wire in but that's about all.Good product for the price.

I read that these were "an often returned item". I can understand why but it's not because of poor quality or manufacturing. They can be a little difficult to use because the screws are very small. I just bypassed the screws and soldered everything together. Made up some nice shims on the back so the wires fit tighter with my 3D printer and we were off to the races.

Unable to use.

This was perfect for fixing a damaged sub-woofer cable. Well-made product. Easy and quick fix.

Terminal design should make it a very good product easy to use, but only works with VERY THICK cables. If you have normal RCA cables won't work at all.
