AvoDermNatural Grain Free Wet Cat Food, Chicken Chunks Entrée In Gravy, 3 Oz Cans, Case Of 24

I have bought many cases of this variety of avoderm catfood in the last year. The most recent case I purchased was completely different. Instead of a combination of chicken chunks and a mostly gelled matrix, it is now a runny brown liquid with less than half the can actually containing chicken chunks. At first, I thought there might be a few cans that were a quality control issue, but every can in the case is like this. Don't waste your money on this until they fix it.

I notice, other time, with various cases I order that this particular selection has changed: what once was a nice amount of chicken is now mostly a bit of chicken and LOTS of gravy - so much gravy that it oozes out the moment the lids is being pulled out. Hopefully the cat will be content with the other fishy flavors that we also get.

My cat likes it, and if you look into the nutrition, it's one of the better, more reasonably priced wet cat foods out there. Now if they could only come up with a way for my cat to open the can so I could give him wet food when I'm away at work....Amazon, asking me to rate the flavor and scent of cat food is ridiculous. I don't eat the stuff, and if it smelled good I'd be a bit concerned. Canned chicken stinks, I don't know how this is supposed to be a 5-star scent.

I foster and TNR cats, and so I'm always on the hunt for deals. I try to buy better quality grain-free food for kittens or cats undergoing surgery. I bought this, because for a higher quality food it's not too expensive per can. However as you can see in the photo, there is a lot of gravy. It's more like a soup for cats. Which basically makes it not a very good deal since it's mostly water or bone stock or something.

One of the very few with foods that will keep our cats PH in line. Does not lower the cats pH but it does not raise it like other wet or dry foods do. Still have to keep our cat on half dry food science diet with half orijen, And we give him two cans of this avoderm and he finally has a good balance. All of the cats love it. Would definitely recommend

I have a cat who has pancreatitis, and lost a lot of weight over a two-month period. I bought so many brands of expensive, natural, grain- free, dry and canned food, hoping to boost his nutrition and help with putting on some more weight, but he would only sniff them and walk away. Knowing he really only liked wet food with chunks in gravy before he got sick, I took a chance and ordered a case of AvoDerm Tuna and Crab Entree in Gravy, and he loved it! He eats one to 3 cans a day and has started putting a little weight back on. When it was time to reorder, i got another case of Tuna and Crab, and also took a chance on a case of the AvoDerm Chicken Chunks Entree in Gravy, and I am so happy that he loves that one too! Yes, AvoDerm is more expensive than the others we used to feed him, but in looking back, the less expensive brand we used to feed him had lots of chicken "meal", grains, and fillers in them, and may have contributed to his pancreatitis. Very happy with the ingredients and nutritional value of AvoDerm wet cat food. We will definitely be buying more of both the Chicken Chunks Entree in Gravy and the Tuna and Crab Entree in Gravy.

very very little food.... 3/4 of the can was sauce. All 3 of my cats threw it up, that has never happened before - Wish I could give it ZERO stars!!

This smell of mold makes me and my cat gag. Such a big waste of time and money. I was hopeful after the bad reviews I read and thought maybe we would receive a better batch. So disappointing to see my cat avoid his food bowl because of this brand.
