It does a good job protecting the I pad haven’t had any damage to the tablet, however the the front part of the case broke and the kick stand on the old version was just plastic which my 5 year old also broke off. This new version seems more sturdy and the kick stand is metal which should last longer. Over all I love this case and recommend it to anybody looking for a rugged protective slim case. Review: Made like my old original beetle case only this one installs easier. - I’m 77 and wondered if I would be a bit challenged getting this new case on the new iPad that I ordered. I had one of the original beetle cases made the same way. Only the original was much harder to get the iPad in. Obviously they have made some improvements overtime because this one was easier to install the iPad into. So far I’m pleased. It seems so similar to my original case which is what I wanted. This case is lighter than the original one which is nice. The materials seem of a high-quality. Overall, I like it and I would buy it again. ## Features - Designed for iPad Pro 12.9 inch 6th Generation 2022 / 5th Generation 2021 / 4th Generation 2020. - Unique design supports the Apple Pencil 2's magnetic attachment as well as wireless charging capabilities. - Shock-resistant multi-layered case with PC hard shell and flexible TPU provides protection against accidental drops bumps and impact. - Built-in screen protector prevents scratches without compromising sensitivity and functional pop out kickstand allows Easy access to your favorite shows, movies, and games while on the go. - Easy access to ports and functions while port covers keep out dust and debris. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09895CFLT | | Additional Features | Flexible, Heavy Duty Protection, Kickstand | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #475 in Tablet Cases | | Brand | SUPCASE | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Tablette | | Compatible Phone Models | iPad Pro 12.9 Inch (2022 / 2021 / 2020) | | Compatible Tablet Computer Models | Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th generation), Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (6th generation) | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 3,008 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Polycarbonate Thermoplastic Polyurethane | | Form Factor | Case | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00843439113817 | | Item Dimensions | 11.5 x 9.4 x 0.8 inches | | Item Highlight | Built-in Screen Protector, Built-in Stand, Support Apple Pencil's Wireless Charge, Heavy Duty Protection, Unicorn Beetle Pro | | Item Weight | 0.19 kg | | Manufacturer | SUPCASE | | Material | Polycarbonate Thermoplastic Polyurethane | | Mfr Part Number | SUP-iPad2021-12.9-UBProV2-Pen-SP | | Model Number | SUP-iPad2021-12.9-UBProV2-Pen-SP | | Pattern | Solid | | Shell Type | Hard | | Theme | Movie | | UPC | 843439113817 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SUPCASE - **Color:** Black - **Compatible Devices:** Tablette - **Form Factor:** Case - **Shell Type:** Hard ## Images ![Click to View - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61i1ydDS3mS.jpg) ![Click to View - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ImGXvepmL.jpg) ![Click to View - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/712AXLfUXfS.jpg) ![Click to View - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81IfQxXu3GS.jpg) ![Click to View - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91d7Vb5gZYS.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: work in ipadpro m1 5th 2021?** A: No 6th generations **Q: Do have one without place for a pen?** A: Yes it does **Q: Can the case attach to the magic keyboard?** A: I had the same question… kinda surprised there’s not many Magic Keyboard compatible rugged drop cases available. I wanted something that would offer adequate protection, but also be fairly easy to remove when I wanted to use the keyboard instead. I must say this case seems to fill those requirements to the letter. I have a 6th Gen, 12.9, iPad Pro, and while I have only owned it for a couple of weeks, this SUPCASE is just what I was looking for. Sure, an Otter box offers more protection, but it's also far more expensive and much more difficult/ time consuming to remove. The SUPCASE has more than adequate protection and fits this iPad like a glove. I don't know what some of these other reviewers are doing during the installation, however, I have had no issues. No scratches, no bending, no damage of any kind. And I can change the case out for my Magic Keyboard an about 60 seconds. I also appreciate the grippy, rubberized edges. I don't yet own an Apple Pencil so I can't comment on the charging capability for that accessory, but all in all, this case is great - and at a very reasonable price. ## Frequently Bought Together - SUPCASE for iPad Pro 12.9 Inch Case 6th/5th/4th generation 2022/2021/2020 (Unicorn Beetle Pro), [Built-in Screen Protector & Stand & Pen Holder] Full-Body Rugged Cover for iPad Pro 12.9 Inch, Black - Ailun 2 Pack Screen Protector for iPad Pro 12.9 Inch Display [2022 & 2021 & 2020 & 2018 Release] Tempered Glass [Face ID & Apple Pencil Compatible] Ultra Sensitive Case Friendly --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/338990270-click-to-view](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/338990270-click-to-view) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
