LED Replacement for1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee - NO Hyperflash
A TAD pricy, but they work. Strong lights, and easy install --- and best of all, they eliminated the "hyperflash" quick cycle turn-signal issue that the other LED's had because of the built in load from the resistor included in the light design. Installed them today, and tested them. Lets see how long they last. I replaced all of the rear lighting with LED's and of course, the turn signals needed the extra load to produced a "normal" cycle on the turn signal lamp. Replacing the relay is a PITA, and there are not really readily available aftermarket 9 pin relays to be found. I was mulling using a halogen lamp, but found these and --- they work fine. Durability? Unknown.

Best Turn Signal Bulb, Not a DRL!
You've read the other reviews of these being a fire hazard. Those reviews have something in common: they used the bulbs as parking lights/DRLs. There's a warning somewhere on the page that says "turn signal use only". These are VERY high-powered LEDs. They generate a ton of heat because of their insane light output. The main purpose of the fan is to act like an internal resistor while cooling a bit, but not for sustained use. They're fine using them as turn signals since they're not on all the time and have a chance to cool down between uses. Originally I was turned away from these bulbs because of those fire hazard reviews, but I decided to buy front and rear after realizing this. I've had and used them for about a month now (March 25th today) and I'll update the review if/when these do fail. Typically I try not to keep the turn signal on for minutes at a time just in case, probably would be fine though. Some problems I had were the fitment. Rear turn signals fit fine but the front liked to pop out and fall inside the headlight when installing. I did eventually get them in and they haven't fallen out. As far as value goes, they're great! You could easily spend over $100 on a set of 2 overengineered not-as-bright turn signal bulbs that are more reliable. A good chunk of them require you to wire in a resistor per bulb as well, which could start rapid blinking prematurely if you didn't wire them securely enough. So as far as brightness per dollar, this takes the cake for me.

Unfortunately does not work on a Honda Odyssey
Unfortunately, this LED does not solve the problem it is designed for. The problem with LEDs for turn lights is that the car electronics are designed for the typical resistance of incandescent bulbs. LEDs consume less electricity and have a higher resistance. This bulb is so expensive (40$ when I purchased it) because it was meant to solve this problem is some way (I assume by passing some current through a resistor basically burning it up, thereby simulating the resistance of a standard bulb). However, it does not: while it worked originally, at odd times, the blinker started to blink in the feared high frequency mode, indicating that something is wrong with the bulb (I think meant to indicate that it is time to switch a broken bulb). This happened when standing in a cross-road waiting to turn (thus after some time), or at odd times when I also pressed the brake simultaneously. After a bit of driving it happened on both sides. We have a relatively new Honda Odyssey. This bulb according to the description was designed for that car (or our car is just used as an example where it should work. I spent quite some time looking through reviews and LED options. This LED gets 1 star for the expensive price, and it not solving the problem it was designed for

Great for turn signals, but overpriced. 2012 Dodge grand Caravan
My front turn signals on my van went out so I wanted an LED replacement but knowing Chrysler and Dodge vehicles they would most certainly hyper-flash and I did not want to install resistors. So I found these, that claim to solve the issue. I lashed out 40 dollars, which is overpriced, but if it does what it claims to do, then I won't be as upset. Installation is straight forward, they are a little stiff to install but it fits snugly. Turn signals work and are very bright. The pictures are in a pitch black garage with no additional lighting. When in headlight mode, it is not as bright, but still an improvement over stock halogens. They are also visible in the headlight housing, so if you don't like how sticks out, take that into consideration. The fan does create a little audible buzzing noise that can be heard in the cabin at idle, but when driving it is not noticeable. Pros: -Bright -Easy to Install -No Hyper-flash -Compatible with FCA vehicles Cons: -Slight fan noise -Expensive Overall, good lights, but expensive.

Bright, Easy to Install, No "Rapid Blinking"
I used these to replace the turn signal bulbs in my 2007 Dodge RAM 1500. Single to install, bright as heck, and worked flawlessly right out of the box. I been using them for several months, and thus far no issues.
