Best pocket knife ive ever owned.
As long as they make these, i wont buy any others. American made, sturdy, thing enough to be comfortable in my pocket all day at work, easy to open and use and then close and safely store in my pocket again, small enough to be easy to carry and non-threatening (and legal) but big enough to do whatever you need, stays sharp (if used thoughtfully), partially serrated so it cuts through wahtever you need. I love this knife.

Favorite knife I've ever owned except the Shallot.
My first love was a Kershaw Shallot, and I adored it. When I lost that one, I switched to the Leek as the Shallot had been discontinued. This is my second Leek - lost that one, too. Must be fate, as the only knives I've ever lost are the two Kershaws 😭 I will probably always own a Kershaw onion of some sort - they're my favorite knives I've ever owned.1. Slimmest, lightest knife I've ever carried. It disappears into your pocket like a dream and doesn't attract a ton of attention, which is nice when you don't necessarily want to have Knife Conversations with every guy you meet.2. Excellent assisted open. It's addictive. I get such a quiet joy from using this knife, no matter how often I use it. Every box I get to open with it is a little gift.3. I find the D2 steel rarely needs touched up, but it's not terribly difficult to sharpen, either. A nice balance between the two.4. Fits wonderfully in the hand and is comfortable to use for precision work. The tip is very fine and great for delicate tasks.5. Classy knife, in my estimation . It isn't *Tactical*, just a sleek-looking tool that does what it's supposed to do and doesn't take up any more space or attention than it needs to.6. I've never needed to send my knife in for a blade replacement and I do my own sharpening, but Kershaw's lifetime services are very nice and definitely worthwhile.7. Effortlessly serviced and maintained by yourself.8. The blade lock is nice, but easily removed if you dislike it. I did remove mine because I found it just added one extra step, and it never opened in my pocket.I suppose they're not for everyone, but the Leek just ticks every box for me.

Thin, light, razor sharp. An awesome little knife
The best pocket knife I've ever owned. Comes razor sharp and I keep it that way with a few strokes on a SharpNEasy 336C, which is cool because the course side is ceramic rods not carbon blades, which I find destroy a cutting edge rather than sharpen it. The clip on the Kershaw is tight and holds the knife securely in place. I have no fear that it will accidentally fall off. The opening mechanism is phenomenal, like a switch blade. And the liner lock is easy to manipulate one handed. The only "rub" I have is that the knife comes with the clip attached at the blade end rather than the butt end, which is counter-intuitive. When you withdraw the knife from your pocket by the butt your fingers are automatically in the correct position to open the blade and use it, when it's attached to the blade end you have to turn the knife around before you can open it. It doesn't make any sense, and with the tiny star drive screws they use I had to stop by my local garage the day I got the knife and ask the mechanic if he had the right size bit. I have a LOT of tools, but I don't have that. Yet. I plan on buying more of these little beauties as Christmas gifts and I'm gonna turn the clip around before I wrap them!
