These little studs seem to be of good quality. The pair I got is very, very small - probably right for a baby or very small child. I wear them anyway and they work fine. Wish I had ordered a larger size

OK, I really needed some butterfly backs. These earrings were inexpensive. They came and were miniscule. Checked the site and in one place said 2 mm and another 3 mm. Keeping them because I need the backs, but were afraid if I used the earrings they would pull through the hole. They are that small.

Posts are very short, 8mm. In the 'olden days' posts were at least 10mm and a bit thicker gauge thickness on the actual post.
