Urban CoCo Women's Elastic Waist Stretch Bodycon Midi Pencil Skirt

This was exactly what I have been searching for! It is a slim-fitting, pencil skirt that successfully manages to marry stylishness with comfort. It is equally at home with being dressed up with a tailored blouse or dressed down with a tee and flats. The fabric is substantial, not a bit see-through. It lies smoothly on the curves. But it can be somewhat unforgiving over small bulges, so you might want to look into shape wear if you would like to have a small confidence boost about your silhouette. Another angle you might want to consider is ordering one size up. It’s unlikely to be too big, because the fabric has lots of give. The skirt is a pull-on so has no closures, meaning no zipper, buttons, snaps, etc. Fast on, fast off. If there is one criticism to be made, and it’s definitely very minor, it would be that the hem has no vent, and therefore relies on the give of the fabric, so that if you tend to walk using relatively large strides, it might impede you a bit. I can definitely feel a small degree of constraint. But if you take smaller steps, there will be no problem whatsoever. Just something to keep in mind. Pictures show straight on, from the left and the right, respectively. The straight-on view is with a bow and rhinestone belt, showing how easily this skirt will accommodate fancier occasions. For reference, I’m 5’5”, 118 pounds and this is the size small. I’m so happy at last to have found a simple, flattering, go-to black skirt that will work well for just about any occasion.

I absolutely love this skirt! Dark Navy Blue is true to color and looks like the pictures. Fabric is thick and appropriate for the office. Definitely good for 3 seasons: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Could be fine in the Summer if you’re a person who is not heat sensitive. The skirt looks like it will hold up okay to wrinkles. It’s very comfortable and breathable. I am, however, going to exchange the XXL for XL. I want the skirt to hit at or above the knee (as shown in the pictures). I can only make this happen if I wear the skirt right under my breast. Luckily the skirt seems to run big, so I can definitely size down, yay! I will still have to hike up the skirt a tad bit, but that’s okay. I’m 5’2” - fluctuate 175/185 lbs - rectangular or banana shaped: 48•40•48, with an apron belly.

This is a nice skirt. I purchase 3 over the last couple of years. The blue one has been washed several times and looks great. The gray as well. I like these skirts do much and decided to get one in brown as well. It arrived today and I noticed it’s much shorter. Seems like as the years go by Urban Coco is making their skirts shorter. I am keeping the latest one even though it’s a bit shorter. Kind of disappointed with the inconsistency.

Size small: I'm 5'4", 118 lbs. It looks nice but a size XS would fit better, but that's not available. It goes a little past my knees and its a little loose around my waste but it still stays up and shows my curves. The brown is "cool" not a warm brown. Good material, very versatile, not see through yet breathable; it's suitable to wear all year with little modification. I've worn it on a cold day with a fluffy white sweater and knee-high boots and on a warm day with a pink short sleeve blouse and gold kitten heels. I get compliments every time I wear this skirt. My husband loves it on me.

Gorgeous stretchy pull-on skirt! Well- fitting, high-waisted & enhances curves. You can wear a lot of different tops with this skirt. Good for work, church, going out, etc. Great for any age. Stats: 59 y.o., 5'3, 126lbs, 28 waist, 35 hips. Ordered Amazon recommended size small & fits perfectly, not too short/ tight.

I really like these skirts and have a few of them. I recently purchased the light gray and was very disappointed in the fabric. It looks just like sweat pant material. Beware of considering. It's not a solid color.

Gorgeous skirt! Very flattering and nice quality. Plan to purchase again in other colors. Because it is double lined, it doesn’t easily show panty lines or anything that’s tucked in. Such a great purchase!!

Simple stretch skirt in nice material that isn't thin or see through. For reference, I'm 5'6", 135lbs and a M fit snug, but not too tight. The only reason I gave one less star is that it arrived late. Seems to be a pattern lately of being promised next day delivery, then a message comes through late in the evening saying the package won't arrive.

The skirt (M) fits perfectly and looks great. Good quality fabric and it is very comfortable.

Ordered 2XL. Glad I did. Usually take XL or L. Good fit. Falls about 2inches below knee on me -5’4” but okay with length - wear with tights. Ordered brown - not dark brown but more cafe au lait colour. Happy with purchase. Update: ordered 2 more skirts in different colours. Very happy with purchases. Same great quality for all three skirts. Recommended but think about sizing up.

great fabric and amazing fitted fit! Stretchy and goes long over the knees (I'm 5'4) and covers tummy a bit.

IMO this skirt is hard to beat at this price point (especially if you can grab it on sale). Stretchy and comfortable, I've bought it in 3 colours (and re-bought the black because I misplaced my first one haha). I wear them for dog shows (good stretch for running with dog), but should do nicely at work as well. I've gotten multiple compliments on the fit of this skirt while wearing it. For reference, I wear a size 18 pant and ordered a 2XL.
