I'm kind of a flashlight junkie, and have gone through probably 50 flashlights over the years. I'm always ordering these less expensive ones hoping that they will perform magically. The last ones I ordered had a lifetime warranty so I ordered a second one once I saw how good and bright the first one was only to be disappointed shortly thereafter when the first one would begin to flicker and go off by itsself, especially when you needed the light the most! I could bang the light against the fence post and maybe it would come back on, but then begin to flicker again and go dim or off completely. I tried the second one and it would do the same thing. I decided to send them back only to find that the company was gone out of business. So, I ordered this flashlight a little over a month ago. I know the Streamlight name and I've heard of their reputation as a quality manufacturer, and I decided to spend a little more and try the PolyTac for my "walk the dog several times an evening" light. I plugged the USB cable into the battery and let it charge until it was completely charged, and by that time it was dark out. Took it outside the first time and was really happy to see how bright it was, and no flickering. I have used it several times per evening now for just over a month and it is still on the same charge, and never ever fails in any way! I always use it on the medium brightness setting which is brighter than I really need, and I can see clearly for 100 yards or so, and never does this light flicker or fail to work. I love this flashlight, and would recommend it to anyone for daily use. It won't let you down!

Purchased for my better-half’s emergency repair/egress hard case. Easy to find, sturdy, holds a charge forever (rarely used), very bright light and she likes it.

This is a great light for daily use. I use it through the day and only need to charge it every 3-4 days. Survived many drops from about 4ft high. Very easy to program the light settings.

its a solid light but buy 2 of the rechargeable batteries and switch them out. It is a good light.. It has 3 settings... 1 dim close up work or reading 2 med light up a room or looking for things 3 OMG! TOO BRIGHT MY EYES HURT STOP SHINING THAT AT ME YOU $^@*!!!! Ive dropped it kicked it across the room down a elevator shaft ect ect ect
