This pocket-size reference manual includes quick guides, can't-miss diagnoses, warning signs, and common treatments for a host of conditions you'll encounter in the emergency department. Before you step into the exam area, look up a condition to get a differential, evaluation tips, management guidance, and disposition recommendations. The book is best for those who are covering shifts in the emergency department or at community sites. Review: A staple in my pocket! - Iโm a PA student in clinical rotations. This book helped me survive my ER rotation by guiding me with high yield information, differentials, physical exam and history to obtain. Love that it helps give insight on when to admit vs discharge in the treatment plan. Applicable across the board in family med, urgent care and other clinical settings other than ER too. I recommend this book to all students! My preceptors were very impressed in my thought processes and I have this book to thanks for that. Iโll be using this book throughout my career! Review: Great resource - Great resource for urgent care and ER settings

Straight to the point and everything you need
EMRA products never disappoint. I hardly leave reviews but this company makes the best resource materials out there. They have managed to distill down to the most important info needed to diagnose treat , and work up most diseases that present to the ED. I also have their quick pocket reference and I love those too. Only thing I would change is make the writing a but bigger. As one gets older it's hard to see

Great resource!
This is a great resource for those new to ED or in residency. The print is a bit on the smaller size, but it includes thorough information and guides you to the correct work-up. I highly recommend this series.

Informative book but damaged
Book is informative but was shipped in the plastic prime bag so the corners were all bent and mangled, your better off getting it at your school bookstore for the same price
