This is my Second one and they work well. The first wore out but that is to be expected as I work from home 9 to 10 hours a day so it gets rolled over all day long 5 to 7 days a week. Last longer that others I have tried. The non slip backing is also great. Never had to adjust it after placing. Highly Recommend.

For years I was using one of those suction cup plastic hardwood protector floor mats for my home desk, but I could not stand the rolling my chair would do as the mat provided no traction for the wheels of my chair. On top of that the plastic would crack over time, it would deform, and overall I just hated how poorly it stuck to the floor.No more! After switch to this carpeted mat I can say for certain that if you have a hardwood floor, and a desk with a chair that isn't going to be moving from its location, then you need to buy this!The carpet is easy to clean with a vacuum, it provides great traction for the wheels of the chair, and the adhesion of the mat is by far the best of any I have tried to date. (not that a couple years later the corners and edges of the mat haven't started to come unstuck, but that's what dust and weekly vacuuming will do)

Great product for the price point and it stays in place very well. However, it does shed quite a lot so it’s a bit annoying to clean. I’d reorder however because of the look and the versatility in hopes that maybe my set were just a bit faulty

Read the reviews and sellers recommendations for install I ironed the fold creases prior to installing. When ready to install I pulled off the clear plastic from the white pad backing. Install was easy with 2 people. We placed one end down and pressed down as we laid the pad down. No wrinkles, lays flat. Chair rolls easy and I don’t have to worry about the chair rolling out from underneath me as it did on hard wood floor. Since this is my art room I am not worried about paint getting on pad and it was inexpensive enough to replace in a few years if needed. I believe this was a good buy.

It was nice well it lasted, but hair, dust, and more all get stuck to it. In the short run, great after using it for 3 years I don't think it's great.

Purchased a few years ago to protect my floor after my chair scratched it up a bunch. Today its still intact and doing its job. It has begun to wear down some but I imagine it could still go another 2 or 3 years before truly falling apart.It has an adhesive on the bottom but I chose not to peel the layer sealing it off and just use it as a normal mat and there's been no issues from doing this. Overall the product is cheap and effective for what its for, but will not last forever if put under constant wear.

I've been using this mat for several weeks now, and I wish I'd bought it a couple years ago when we bought our home. I could have saved the hardwood flooring in my office.There are several things I really like about this office chair mat. (1) It's size. It's large enough to move my chair and and still stay on the mat. (2) It doesn't move around on the floor. There is a film that you remove from the backing and then you place the mat on a clean floor surface. It stays put. (3) It's easy to clean. Because it is such a low pile, it can be swept or vacuumed. (4) It has held up well under constant use. I work from home, and I'm a big girl. The mat has held up well under my weight and daily use. If I ever need another mat, I'll be happy to purchase another one of these.

I wanted carpet under my office chair at home. This was a good solution. However, I didn't want to adhere the entire thing to our laminate flooring, so I only exposed the corners. Stays in place with just as well. Our flooring is matte finish with a subtle wood grain texture. I cannot vouch for what it might do to real hard wood flooring, tile or high gloss flooring. I can vacuum the surface to clean it - but I turn the agitator off on your vacuum.
