I've been using it for a while and it seems to work really well. you can really get some volume if you use both brush sizes

You get what you pay for with Buxom Amplified Lash Mascara. It's a pricey product, but seems to be of very high quality. Both the brush and the mascara are top-notch. I didn't actually know about the special extension feature of the brush until I read other reviews. If you twist the handle of the brush one way, it condenses so that the bristles are closer together; twist it the other way to space out the bristles. This allows you to separate and coat each lash with its own fair share of mascara to give you maximum volume. This really is probably the best mascara brush I've ever used, and I've tried many over the years.I have also noticed that, though the mascara is not waterproof, I get almost no smudges below the eye during the day - no "raccoon eye" that I seem to get with other cheaper mascaras. It is a little bit more difficult to wipe off at the end of the day, but still doesn't require a lot of scrubbing and tugging at the delicate tissue around the eye.I have only one small complaint, which no other manufacturer seems to have been able to address either; and that is, that a small glob of mascara comes out of the tube attached to the end of the brush and you have to wipe it off on the edge of the tube or on a tissue before brushing your lashes in order to prevent getting that glob somewhere on your lashes or lids. I would deduct 1/2 star for that small flaw.Edited 1 month later: The cap on the end of the brush snapped off after just a few weeks of use, so the brush can no longer be twisted to expand and contract it; nevertheless, the brush still works, albeit in a stationary position, so I can continue to use the mascara until it's consumed.

Wow, is the best way to describe this mascara. For the first time in years I appear to have long, thick lashes. I was actually accused of having extensions. I am so pleased. This is the first mascara that doesn't require you to have long lashes to get long lashes.

I receive mascara in black tube not silver like described. And it is nothing special. Better is mascara for 10$ from pharmacy

This is the best mascara I've ever used! It lengthens, it thickens and it stays on all day! No flaking, no smearing!

This mascara is totally amazing. I have been using Buxom lash which is amazing for my short lashes, but this one is even better! Love it. I thought the twisting thing was just a gimmick but it really makes a difference!

This is the best mascara I have ever used. Please do not discontinue producing it.

I've tried the regular Buxom brand mascara and was very pleased so I thought I'd give this a try...wow was I impressed. Glad I made the purchase!
