Outside had no rust or dents, just military desert brown paint used to cover black nomenclature #'s, nothing that effects it. Inside was like new and seal was like new. I use it for those loose welding rods that seem to be accumulating anymore in my shop now that work has all but died and welding rods have gone through the ceiling in price due to horrid economy, throwing away opened boxed rods doesn't seem prudent anymore. Loose, regular 14 inch rods fit perfect with dividers between different rods. Throw in large silica pack and you're good to go.

I ordered this and opened it and afterwards, I decided to return it. Not because there was anything wrong with it. As a matter of fact it was perfect. Very sturdy and not a scratch. I'm only leaving this review to say it is definitely as advertised and the company is reputable. I recieved a refund promptly. This is an honest review..

Well build

This steel ammo can is just what you'd expect -- sturdy, not purty! Heavy duty, rugged construction, and the seals are intact. Good value!

Mine was in pretty good shape, with fresh paint inside and out. However, they painted right over the rubber seal and that paint was a gooey, flakey mess. I had to remove the seal, clean it with some solvent to remove the uncured paint, and put it back in. With the paint removed the seal is in very good condition. It was also a good opportunity to check the original finish behind the seal, which was fine, no corrosion. For those unfamiliar with ammo cans, the dimensions shown are exterior dimensions. Internal dimensions are 7.5" wide x 17.25" long x 14" deep.

I bought it for storing my eBike batteries in the winter, inside the house. They fit great. If there's any chance of a fire. It's already contained.

I bought the used offering and got the used offering. A few dents, a thin coat of green paint, but mechanically sound. usable. Glad for the discount on the B-grade item. Bought a second, also unreconditioned. Good product at fair price at my time of purchase. Sanded and painted for the color and finish I wanted. NOTE: dimensions shown are for the exterior! My second project won’t fit as I was thinking they were interior dimensions. Not the sellers fault, good case.
