QWORK Lid Cover for 55 Gallon Drum, Oxford Cloth, Waterproof and Dustproof

Fits perfect on a 55-gallon drum I use for a burn barrel. I see complaints about the elastic cord not having a stop and cover blowing off. First, I simply made a knot in the elastic cord closer to the cover allowing me to make it much tighter. Easy peasy solution. But to be safe, I drilled a hole in the barrel and screwed in an eye bolt and use a snap fastener to secure elastic cord to it. Would definitely buy again.

Fits my whiskey barrel snugly but we’ll. Seems a bit light in weight. Time will tell how durable it is.

I couldn’t find any lids that fit the Amazon Commercial 55 gallon barrels. This drum cover fits perfectly over the top and reaches all the way to the bottom. I only needed it to go halfway but this works fine for me. I’m not sure how long it’ll last outdoors but we will see. Seems durable enough.

The picture shows a plastic piece (spring cord lock) to cinch it closed but it came without one. There’s just a knot on the elastic band, as shown in my photo. I don’t need the included zip case for it but I do need that spring cord lock!

Aparently I have not taken a picture with the cover on, but I built a sand barrel stand for the driveway and this cover goes over the open end of the barrel. While the cover tightens, I chose not to leave things to chance and use the cover in combination with an adjustable 40" bungee cord which I also picked up via Amazon. The two of them have handles two snowstorms totaling 23.5" of snow, and a torrential rain event totalling 3.5" and I just opened up the barrel today and the sand is bone dry - not even any frozen runoff in the bottom of the cover. I got the set of two in case the first one somehow ripped or was otherwise compromised. So far so good!

Accidently tore through the cover while opening the packaging. Packed super tight in a thin plastic envelope. about as thin as a trash bag with worse durability. POS, don't buy. Just use a Walmart bag or light tarp instead.

Whats to say? They cover the top of the 55 gallon drums to help keep them from collecting debris and crud.Work well. Only time will tell how durable they are and how they will hold up to being outside year round. Each cover was packed in its own zippered bag which was a bonus. I am using the bags for other things.

The covers are working fine for the rain barrels. I had to modify them.
