I took some time to view the You Tube videos online before attempting. The one linked with the instructions was the best. My washer had a flatter agitator system, but the process is pretty much the same. I was able to tip the washer back enough in my laundry room to access the bottom to perform the repair. I had to do the 2 x 4 scissor jack method to remove the drum from the driveshaft, but no big deal. It was easy. I recommend doing a good power wash or scrub to all the plastic components and tub. Make sure to check and clean the filter plate in the bottom of the tub. The video has this step as an option, but upon inspection I discovered mine was really gunked up. If I ever do this again, I'm going to try putting the driveshaft in the freezer for about 15 minutes to see if that helps shrink the diameter a bit so it might slide into place easier. The fit into the upper bearing was tight and I hand to pound it into place with a hammer and wood block (also shown in the video). The repair was a success.

I am very mechanically inclined so this worked great for me and fixed my washing machine. Saving me hundreds of dollars. Now I have a great working washing machine without adding to the landfill.

DRY FIT THIS ITEM BEFORE TEARING APART YOUR WASHER AND ACTUALLY TRYING TO INSTALL IT. I strongly recommend spending more for OEM. Some of the other reviews suggest this set doesn't hold up for more than a few months. Installing new bearings and shaft is a fairly big job. IMO well worth the extra ~$100 for parts that will probably last a lot longer (if you even get parts that work from this company) After reading some of the other reviews, I'm not the only person that had this happen... The lower bearing of my set didn't actually fit properly onto the shaft, making installation impossible. I couldn't get the lower bearing to seat fully, which made it so I couldn't access the threads on the end of the shaft to tighten with the nut (the next step of installation). I've attached a picture to show what I mean - the new shaft and that's as far as I can push the bearing onto the shaft (it's covering the threads). Washer is working well now, but not thanks to this set - I've got OEM parts installed. FYI there's really good tutorials to walk you through the installation process. Other than having to install twice since this part did not work as stated above... I'm sending this back for a refund, which, we'll see how it goes. If I get stiffed on the refund I'll update this with further negative feedback. I know another user said the same thing back in Aug 2021 and I did not see an update... I hope that means I will get the refund. I will report back either way.

This bearing replacement kit came with all the parts needed to replace the inner bearings, tub washer, drive shaft, and the plastic pieces along with grease and sealant. However, the sealant with this kit was nothing more than super glue that goes on top of the tub washer. The hardest part of the install was removing the old bearings and drive shaft. Once all of the old pieces were finally out of the washer the process went quicker. The tool that comes with this kit to install the inner bearings is an absolute MUST. Without it and the spacer, there is no chance that installation would go as well as it did. After greasing the new bearings and installing them, the drive shaft went in easily, and putting everything back together was pretty straight forward. Overall the project took about 6 hours, but that was mostly because getting the old bearings out was a challenge (it involved a car jack and a 2x4 if that gives you any indication!). The only issue we had was that once everything was back together, the tub seal seemed to squeak when we ran the washer. But after the seal wore in, the squeaking has since subsided. Overall, definitely recommend this kit and give it overall 4 stars for its ease of use and completeness. You might consider using a different adhesive for the tub seal and using lithium grease as the grease on the bearings.

I'm not complaining but how is it possible to sell a kit this comprehensive for $55.00? Just the shaft could be over $50.00! Maybe the best value I have ever seen. Installed flawlessly and washer runs like a new machine. As for the reviews stating the bearings do not fit, you ALWAYS have to check bearing fit. Premature bearing failure? DON'T BEAT ON THE BEARINGS WHEN INSTALLING! LOL This is a technical repair, not intended for rookies!

This kit is nice because it comes with the installation tool. However, the bearing install tool is not machined correctly and does require some sanding to make it usable. The bearings are not high quality and failed after six months. You might consider the extra cost and go OEM with this one.

Bought this kit in June of 2024. Nice to get the tools with this. Those are good to save and very inexpensive compared to the OEM. However the bearings are now failing after 16 months, so this time I’m going for the OEM. Like said in other reviews, this is a somewhat complicated repair, and there are great videos showing you step by step. Interesting sidenote is that the instructions refer to a video from another part supplier. :-)

Pretty impressed by quality and perfect fit for my Maytag washing machine model MVWB750WRO. It came with all parts needed which was huge time saver in bearing installation. Now machine is almost noiseless and runs like new!
