what replacement do you use for the burner element. I just mine in 2011 and the burner is shot?

Cuisinart 20014 Burner for Portable Tabletop Gas Grill (CGG-180T) cannot be found anywhere. This burner is an achilles heel w/ this grill. It's cheap stamped steel and not replaceable anymore. I would skip buying this grill. I wish I had.

Can you cook with the lid down on this unit? I've noticed you can't with the Coleman, so I was curious about this one.

do i need to buy a propane bottle?

I bought a 4 pack at Lowes for $16 I also bought from Amazon the same time i bought the grill a connection to a regular size propane tank

Will this also work with GLP?

If GLP is the fuel you put in the tanks used for the gas grill on your patio, the answer is yes. If you use a large propane tank you will need the proper hose and adapter. I think I saw the hose listed with the Petit Gourmet Grill on Amazon.
