These stands are very sturdy and a great buy. They are well worth the price. I’ll be using these to display 11x14 picture frames.My only gripe is that the black paint finish was chipped/peeling in different spots on five of the eight stands.

I’ve used a variety of book holders at events over the years. The light metallic ones from the dollar store are total crap. There are some plastic holders that also don’t perform well because they tend to be so light they fall over from the weight of the book if it’s not positioned perfectly. I’ve also used wooden holders some of which are OK but again they have a tendency to wobble. These holders are amazing, they stand their ground and hold books properly and do not cause chaos at a table. If you’re a writer, go for these. Yes I need to purchase them once.
