Not perfect, but it makes really GREAT FROTH!
Update at bottom I have been using a handheld frother for a little over a year. It works really well, but since I use it so often, I decided the ease of an electric would be worth it. After much searching, I decided on this one as good for the price. I've had it for a little over a month, and I'm very happy with it so far. There are four differen settings: cold foam, warm light foam, warm thick foam, and warm with no foam. Though it does foam a little in that setting, which is odd, but whatever. I always drink skim milk, so I can't speak for other types of milk. - The most important thing to me is the froth. It makes GREAT froth. I gave it five stars solely for this reason, even though it's not flawless. The froth is amazing. I typically use the warm thick foam setting. It's so very thick, and smooth, and fluffy. Some pours out into the drink, but often there is a good portion that I need to coax out with a spoon, which I love. The light foam is also nice. I like it to mix in with a beverage, but generally my motto is why light froth when you can thick froth??? I tried the cold froth for my daughter, and it was equally smooth and fluffy. - It's super easy to run. Just press the button to choose the froath that you want and press the button to start. It starts and stops on it's own. - Fixing my negetive statement concerning the frother overflowing. It doesn't. Review was due to my bad eyes and the difficult to see "min" "max" lines in the container. - It's not dishwasher safe. I wasn't looking for dishwasher safe because I used my handheld once or twice a day. I knew I would want to use this one before I could run a cycle through the dishwasher. If you want dishwasher safe, keep looking. - It IS easy to clean. Super easy to wash out with a cloth or sometimes I just put a drop of dishsoap and some water in the container and run the cold cycle. The one thing I dislike is that the mechanics are in the bottom of the container, rather than in the base it sits on. You have to be careful not to get it too wet, and I'm always paranoid I'm going to do something stupid to wet and ruin it. I haven't yet. And I'm probably not. - I think the cord is a little long for a countertop appliance, considerably longer than my coffee machine and WAY longer than my toaster. To me this is the most annoying thing about it because I really dislike seeing cords. A more "countertop appliance" friendly cord would be easier to tuck and hide. UPDATE: After using this great little frother 2/3 times daily for a year and a half, it died. I've had virtually no complaints during that time and stick to everything written in my original review..... for the dead frother at least. I replaced it with a duplicate. I missed my froth so much and was SO excited when it arrived. That one just wasn't the same. I did everything exactly the same. Same milk, same amount. same setting, same kitchen, same everything. I tried over and over. It was worse than my handheld frother. :( I sent it back and got them to send another one. It's great... thankfully because this froth has become one of the little joys in my life. So if you get one and aren't content with the way it froths, send it back and ask for a replacement. Maybe you got a lemon. 2nd UPDATE: Have been using the replacement. It worked GREAT for a little while then declined in froth quality. It still works well. I get a nice enough froth that I'm enjoying. But it's not amazing anymore. I do believe (from looking at videos/reviews as well as trying a few others) that this is the best quality for the pricepoint. Not sure if I'll get another like this when it eventually breaks or if it's worth trying something more expensive.

This product did not work from day one!!
I think I win the award for the worst performance for this milk frother. I bought it from Amazon after a different frother I had used for several years finally stopped working (and the company is no longer in the US, so I can't get parts for it). Before I opened the box, my old frother began working again, so I decided to see how it went before opening the new one. Suffice it to say that the old one stopped working right about the time when the return window for the new one had closed. So I opened up the Instant Pot, followed the instructions exactly, and it didn't work! It heated the milk but without foam. No matter which function button I used, it wouldn't foam/froth. I tried every kind of milk. No frothing. I followed some recommendations from Amazon. No dice. I finally contacted the customer service people at Instant Pot. That was two months ago. We are STILL back and forth. Make a video to show it doesn't work! I did. Tell us exactly what isn't working. I did. They finally told me they put in an order for a replacement Instant Pot for me and that I would receive a separate email with tracking info, once it shipped. This was more than a week ago. I just wrote them again. For a company that repeatedly thanks me for my patience and apologizes for the delays, this is inexcusable. The weird thing is that I carefully researched milk frothers and this one was on every list of recommended products! If you are thinking of getting it, SAVE YOUR MONEY and buy something else. I still don't know what product to buy as a replacement.

Easiest way to make foam for your coffee and more!
Update: I still love this and use it every morning. But I’m a little disappointed that in just a few weeks time the print is nearly worn completely off the front of it. All it ever requires is light wash and rinse from the sprayer at the sink, then I usually let it air dry in the dish drainer or give it a light soft towel dry. So I don’t understand why the print is coming off so easily. This is the first time I’ve ever purchased an open box item and I’m so happy that I took the chance. Because I love my Instant Pot, I was hoping the positive experience I’ve had with the brand name would carry over to this product too and it did not disappoint one bit! It so convenient just starting this up while I’m making a French Press coffee and having it ready to go when I need it. Works fantastic whether you need warmed light or stiff foam or cold foam for iced drinks. It quickly rinses clean with the sink sprayer too! And if you like Dalgona coffee, YES! It makes that too! Even matcha dalgona! Don’t be dissuaded by reviews that complain about two lights blinking and it not working. Occasionally that happens, I think it’s a safety feature - perhaps it thinks there’s not enough liquid if your using minimum or what you’ve used is too heavy/thick but all it takes is lifting the pot up and setting it back down. Then it clears and goes back to working perfectly fine. I’ve included pictures of both Dalgona coffee and Dalgona Matcha (using coconut cream) that I’ve made with it many times! Yummy!

Best value milk frother, total espresso game changer!
As a coffee enthusiast, I can never go back to making espresso drinks without this! It makes such nice, cloud-like foam and has totally changed my home coffee making game. My friend has a Nespresso milk frother (~$100 value), and I believe this milk frother makes the same cloud-like quality frothed milk at a fraction of the price of the more high-end brands. In addition to this product's value for its price, it is very easy to use and clean. As an aside, I also want to comment on Instant's customer service. In today's age, I have found that many sellers on Amazon have horrible customer service, so I like to give shout outs to brands that have great customer service centers. My experience with the Instant customer service team was impeccable. I first purchased this item certified refurbished on Amazon Resale, and it stopped working after 1 month of use. I reached out to their customer service to see if they would replace it, but was not sure if they would since it was a refurbished product. The customer service team was very kind, helpful, and understanding of my situation. After providing them with video evidence of the item not working, they promptly sent me a replacement! If you are looking to step up your espresso/coffee game with a milk frother, I highly recommend this Instant milk frother!!

OBSESSED
This thing ROCKS. My biggest complaint with Nespresso (the coffee pods specifically) is that the coffee is always too cold, after putting cream in the coffee is maybe lukewarm at best- this completely fixed that. I put my half and half in the frother on the thick foam setting and it heated it up to 150 degrees F, and the foam was super dense. It made my coffee MUCH more enjoyable! It also works super fast, by the time my coffee finished brewing the frother had shut off automatically. My ONLY complaint and the only reason I took off a star: when it came in the mail, part of the coating around the spout was chipped. But otherwise it works great!!

Good Froth, Poor Durability
This is a reasonably priced milk frother that does a good job frothing milk. I think it does the best with dairy milk. I wish it heated up the milk more. I used my milk frother for about 9 months before it stopped heating the milk. Since it was under the 1-year warranty, I submitted a claim to Instant Pot Brands for a replacement. They require you to jump through a few hoops, such as submitting the proof of purchase, a picture of the sticker on the bottom, and a video of the unit performing. I submitted all these things several times via e-mail with no final response from customer service about whether they would replace my unit. After about a month of waiting with no responses to my e-mails, I finally called and was able to get them to send a replacement unit. I am waiting on it now. Update: my replacement unit lasted about 9 months before it also died. I give up. I will use the replacement unit until it dies and then I probably won't purchase this brand of milk frother again because I think it has durability issues. It performs well, but my unit didn't even last a year. Keep in mind that if you want a replacement from Instant Pot if your unit dies during the 1-year warranty, you will have to be persistent and provide them all the information they ask for. I initially purchased this milk frother because it has good reviews and a low price point. I just wonder if all those testers online used the frother for longer periods of time and observed that it doesn't hold up very well under daily usage. (And I took good care of my frother.) Hope that helps!

Some Experimenting Needed
Okay, I love it. It does what I want.. but.. User error is a huge thing, and the marking isnt helping. Im having a huge issue with overflow. Specifically when doing heavy foam. There are some very hard to see indicators inside for Min. Max cold, max hot, ect. I've found that if I do max hot, it WILL over flow. Basically, i've learned to only use the min option. I might still get some overflow when doing the heavy foam though.. I cant say 100% if thats my error though because I am struggling to make out the indicators, especially have using it once. (I make 2-3 cups of milk at a time so im lazy!) Foaming Thoughts: Heavy Foam is the best! Its still really thick and nice even after a hour. Hot Foam (regular) is a bit more bubbly and doesnt last near as long but its still really good, holds well. Cold Foam comes out soooo pretty. Really nice looking in a mason jar with coffee with a strong line. Downside is it doesnt last near as long as the other two before just completely evaporating. But from my experience, it did take atleast 20 mins for that to happen. I use regular 2% milk. Sometimes adding a little creamer or syrup for flavor depending on what im drinking. A little goes a long way! So my overall experience: It works. Does what I want. Easy to use. Would recommend. My only advice is to error on the side of less then too much! Other good points: Its very quiet! Like I wasnt sure it was working quiet. It is a strong mixer so you can use syrups in it. (I like to add chocolate or caramel syrup like what you'd top ice cream with or use to make chocolate milk.) Its not hot on the outside but the milk is! (I expected to burn myself first time I picked it up but the outside the very top is actually cool to the touch and the bottom didnt feel hot either. That was really pleasing for me since I was worried about that after using more traditional means for frothing milk for espresso!)

I could not use the item as it did not work because of voltage difference
when ordering through Amazon Uk site it was assumed that we will get to use it on 240V but the item is for US power of 120V. Item is of no use

Love It!
Love this thing. I use it every single morning and have saved so much money not buying a latte before work because of this thing! It can also make cold foam which I didn’t realize!

Pésimo
No duró ni 3 meses. PÉSIMO. Además La espuma mas sencilla se desborda del recipiente aún llenando menos de la mitad de lo permitido
