Great for Toddler sized kiddos! Good value for the money. Took a lot of time to assemble, but directions were clear and organized! Doors probably won't last long with regular play.

Backyard Fun
This beautiful wood playhouse is a testament to creativity and imagination. With a few modifications, such as adding a slide to the front, it has become an even more exciting space for young children to explore. The quality of the materials is impressive, and it has held up well over the years, enduring the challenging weather conditions of Minnesota. It's perfect for children between the ages of 18 months and five years, and the cool play area underneath can also be used as a sandbox. The inside of the play structure includes a kitchen set and bench seat with vibrant striping colors, offering a fun and engaging space for children to play and learn. Overall, this playhouse is a wonderful addition to any backyard and a great way to spark children's creativity and imagination.

Decent. Satisfied with it for the price.
3 YO and 1 YO enjoy it. Took me 10 hours by myself. A helper would be nice to gather all the pieces for each step. Lots of bolts, washers, screws, etc. and pieces are in different boxes. Keep that packing list handy. Sometimes the same piece was split into different boxes. Pay attention to the pre drilled hole orientation during each step. Luckily I messed one up but it was easily screwed into and not a bolt. Like many we put the slide on it. There’s holes there already for the stairs so we bolted on another piece of wood on the front and screwed the slide to that more substantial area. I recommend weather treating right away. 3 days in the Texas heat and rain made the wood look beat up. So we put some clear oil based weather seal on it. Looks fine and seems to be holding up now with the recent rain and sun. Wood doesn’t look to be drying out, splitting, flaking, etc. It’s perfect for our kids now and the size of our yard. Our yard isn’t exactly level so built it on the patio and then moved the bottom section then the house section so it would at least start out square. We’ll see how it holds up. Have a birthday party next weekend with plenty of kids. May need to add a couple extra floor supports but I’ll see if those show signs of cracking.

6 years later and still holding up!
I bought this in 2019 for and it’s held up really well through two kids (and 5 winters!) now. The little house part is a low ceiling so best for kids 2-5 I’d say but my now 9 year old was still getting regular enjoyment out of it until very recently. The biggest complaint is that one of the swinging doors fell off a couple years ago. I do remember it took us a few days and an extra couple pairs of hands to put it together but well worth it!

It is "meh" but the kids like it.
My wife and I purchased this unit for our daughters to play in as a compromise to me not taking 16 years to build a play house from scratch. We decided on this unit based on some of the previous reviews, the general aesthetic and claimed quality of the unit from other purchasers. The Pros: The instructions were relatively clear and straight forward. I found that I was easily able to follow the step-by-step guide provided by the manufacturer. The unit looks as advertised in the photos and overall the build experience went smoothly minus a few bumps which caused tons of frustration which will be outlined below. The kids like it. Let's face it, I'm not the one that's going to be out there playing on it and my daughters both love it so far so at least that saves it from receiving a lower grade than 3 stars. Hardware was decent. It was nice that the required Torx bits came in both L-handle and drill driver versions to make assembly quicker. I have my own set of impact bits for my driver so I didn't need to use them for the most part, but it was really nice they were included (especially the driver bits as that was a surprise). I found that aside from a pack of screws mentioned below everything else was present and clearly labeled so I was not confused as to which pieces to use when. Many of the packages came with an extra piece as well in case one was lost or damaged along the way. The Cons: Material choice. The Chinese Cedar used for this design is not nearly as strong as a Western Red Cedar that you would get from a lumber supplier nor the treated lumber that I could buy from a local big box store to construct a solution from scratch. I am a heavier dad at 270+ and I was very nervous being on the structure at times during assembly. Luckily my daughters and wife are healthy weights and I don't fret about them being on there together. If I were building this from scratch, the base would have been constructed out of 2" material instead of the measly 1/2" that it feels like the manufacturer went with. The boards themselves seem sturdy enough for kids, but if we had 4 or 5 kids on there, it might get a little worrisome. I will probably be doing some modifications in the future. Check your parts inventory before assembly!! I have NEVER had an assemble-yourself product from any other manufacturer which had missing/incorrect parts included in the box. The website is easy enough to get to and register your product to request missing/damaged parts, but I had to do this three times over the course of the build. For the small house on the platform I was sent two right-handed pieces for the front instead of a right and a left. The same thing also happened with the saloon doors. I was also missing a bag of #8 x 1-1/2 screws which I luckily had some galvanized wood screws to substitute. I had to make multiple requests to the manufacturer through their website https://service.backyarddiscovery.com in order to get the correct parts for the unit, but the delays were infuriating as I was expecting assembly to be completed rather quickly over the course of a weekend and instead the unit is still not 100% completed as I only just receive the final piece after weeks of waiting and wondering if customer service was actually even doing anything with my requests. As someone who prefers to design/build my own solutions for projects around the house, I really wanted to build from scratch to have a playhouse for my daughters. I compromised with my spouse as building projects from scratch can take a while. I sure do wish I would have just scratch-built this solution instead.
