Just what I needed. Great product!

The fans (three) are on our roofed deck. We like the remote, the variable speeds and the lights that come with the fan.Really great that the fans are damp resistant. Had an electrician install the fans.

Hands down, this was one of the best downrods I’ve ever bought. It was perfectly cylindrical and had holes in all the right spots. After using this, my fan was lower than before. That was an unexpected surprise. It was made of metal which is a plus on the durability side. I can see this lasting longer than a paper or plastic tube of similar length. And considering it is sold by the same manufacturer as the fan I bought, I felt very lucky that the color matched. Disaster avoided.Seriously though people... it’s a downrod.

Just found out that the 4 - 18” down rods I purchased for the two Emerson fans don’t come with couplers nor was it suggested. And to add salt to my wound, apparently my return date was Nov 7. Now I’ve decided to buy 36” down rods and again I have no idea if a coupler is required to attach down rod to the motor? If it is required it would be nice to let the customer know! Likefan but better product info is required.

Perfect downrod for ceiling fans requiring a 1/2" rod. Most modern fans found in retail stores use a 3/4 rod. I had to drill and tap a hole for a ground strap but otherwise perfect. I used these with a pair of otto fans, also purchased on amazon.
