can this unit be connected to the vehicle alternator to charge 2 batteries. And where can I get more information to read about it ?

The alternator should charge the original vehicle battery, then this unit is connected to get power from the original battery and used to charge a second, back-up battery. The backup battery may have another identical 12v battery connected to it in parallel. The identical battery should be of the same age, brand, size, etc. You can find the owners/installation manual online.

What will happen if my main battery is a 74ah and the auxiliary is a 150ah battery. i’m planning to install the bcdc redarc charger 25a

Hi Mohammed, Thanks for your message. The BCDC operates independently to charge the Auxiliary 150AH battery, so is not critical on the capacity of the Main battery. It is essentially drawing from the Alternator of the vehicle anyway, so capacity is not a big issue. This will work fine with this 25A BCDC size too; perfect for your 150AH battery. Hi there, Thanks for your message. You will not need a relay for this unit, it does all the switching internally. A 40A MIDI type fuse is required however and suitably rated cable to connect the unit up to the Batteries and Solar panel. Best regards, REDARC

Can this be used to charge a Goal Zero or Jackery type lithium power bank?

Goal Zero/Jackery type power banks have internal charging normally. If it has a 12V input, you don't really need an external charger, just a 12v supply from your car, solar controller/converter etc.
