Saving Darlie: Why Death Row Inmate Darlie Routier Should Not Be Executed

Interesting Take
I lived in Rowlett in '96, and ran into both Darlie's mom and her husband, just randomly on the street a few times. I also, after the trial, took classes with several of the court reporter's former co-workers at the time. I don't recall the outcome, but the court reporter was charged with several mis-conduct charges. That said, this book brought up some interesting details that I wasn't aware of back then. I'll look into them, thanks to this.BTW, even back in the last Ice Age of the '90s, Dallas had AC. I don't get where (ok, maybe I do) how someone from Traverse City, MI would be so sure we all suffered from constant heat stroke.

One of a series of books about the Routier case by the author
Book about the Routier case that I didn't find very good. I think that Darlie Routier is guilty, however I find it disturbing that someone without any medical or psychological background at all is speculating so much about Darlie Routier's mental conditions, or lack thereof. Although she's entitled to her opinion it really makes me uncomfortable that someone with no education and no training is so comfortable speculating that Darlie has all of these mental illnesses without ever speaking to her

Way too much speculation from an author that is no doctor or psychologist. I am Sorry I purchased this book.
Not well written. Written by an obviously opinionated author who comes to too many speculations about PPD, PMDD, child sexual abuse; yet she is no doctor or psychiatrist. Waste of time.

misprint
this book was not printed correctly. It had the first half upside down about Giraffes and the second half was right side up about Darlie Routier
