WENN das Ding mal in Betrieb genommen wird, kann man gar nicht anders als manisch zu lachen und zu grinsen.Das einzige PROBLEM was ich bei Inbetriebnahme hatte: Das Betteriefach ist mit zwei Schrauben gesichert, von denen eine so tief versenkt ist, das man mit einem herkömmlichen Bit-Schraubendreher nicht heran kommt. Es muss ein richtiger Kreuzschraubendreher der größe No. 1 sein, der nicht breiter als 6 mm ist. gleichzeitig ist die schraube (zumindest in meinem Fall) so fest das auch Feinmechanik-Werkzeug nicht greift bzw die Schraube ausfrisst.Fazit: Das Ding ist ohne Zweifel teuer, aber die Handhabung, die Geräuschkulisse und der Style machen die Mastodon für mich zum König der Nerfkanonen.6 von 5 Sternen für das Gerät, -1 für den Aufwand mit dem Batteriefach.

Ya en el tamaño de la caja, me pareció que no era un juguete para niños, sino más bien para jóvenes, este lanzador es bastante grande y no es fácil de llevar encima, para una persona pequeña. Digamos que es ideal, para niños de 12 años en adelante.Es capaz de disparar los 24 dardos que caben en el tambor de forma automática, solamente tendremos que ir apretando el gatillo, hasta 24 veces para vaciar el cargador. Lanza los dardos con potencia, hasta unos 20 metros, pero no hay miedo, pues estos dardos están fabricados en gomaespuma. En el gatillo, tenemos un seguro, para que no se dispare accidentalmente.Para poder portarlo mejor, viene acompañado de una correa, para colgarlo en estilo bandolera.Funciona con pilas, 6 unidades del tipo D. No se cuanto le duran, pero ya son pilas que resultan caras, si se las ponemos de cierta calidad.En cuanto a la fabricación, se ve de buena calidad, y buenos acabados, aunque es todo en plástico, este es muy resistente, pensado para los golpes que pueda sufrir durante su uso. Es muy llamativo, de colores rojo, naranja y amarillo.He leído que a algún usuario, se le ha atascado el tambor, a la hora de disparar, no ha sido nuestro caso, si disparas tranquilamente, no se atasca, no puedes disparar demasiado rápido.Aunque los disparos, los realicemos de cerca, no hace ningún daño, eso si, aconsejable usar unas gafas protectoras para los ojos.Viene con un manual de instrucciones, para el montaje y uso, bien explicado.

I've recently bought several types of NERF gun.... Im no expert but I can at least compare a bit. So, the MASTADON... now at £48 on amazon.... no brainer, GET ONE!!!.... your "kid" will love it..... I found it to be reliable, quite accurate, frankly awesome to look at....BUT... be aware.... it is big and bulky... do not buy it for your little 5 y.o. Jimmy or Zoe... even though it electric a small child will struggle to wield this monster (for the little uns... which I am assuming you will buy eye protection for ?!?!?) I would recommend the Mega Cyclone (which I bought for a friend's 5 y.o. lad.... he LOVES it especially as "Jim" (me) supplies him with replacement darts every now and again)....Sorry back to the Mastadon.....the only other BUT.... be prepared to re-supply with extra darts... considering this thing lets fly 24x darts in about the same number of seconds, you will see them disappearing pretty quick... (probably best place to play would be on a nice palying field, short grass, acres of space... but nowhere to hide??... no fun)Seriously though, NERF guns.... if you got no probelm with the "gun" aspect then these things are in general well worth their money.... seem pretty robust (that Cyclone has been left in rain, mud, straw... you name it...and so far still working!)...worth looking up reviews on youtube... enjoy
