Bresser Ambition Rangefinder, Black, 100 yd

The media could not be loaded. I had to think a little outside the box to mount it. In the end it ended up working awesome. I will update the review once I get it out in the woods. It mounted great on the Bear Fisix on the collapsible butt stock. I ended up not using the adjustable neck or mounting it on top of the scope. It seems way to clunky and out in the open that way. There are other possibilities to mount if this one didn't work. I absolutely love it. and way cheaper than the vendetta. It is about a foot off but it was because of my meters to yards conversion. I would definitely buy one of these again. I am even thinking about it's brother that goes out to 400 yards for my rifle!

mounting system is garbage, no way this will stay locked in position. I ordered and it came to me used scratched and mounting hardware was stripped. I returned it for a replacement and was very careful while mounting it not to over tighten. But it was impossible to tighten it enough so that it would stay on target and not move out of alignment after each shot without stripping out the screws. Threads are not tapped properly and some of the mount is plastic with poorly designed tension screws. I think the Idea is great and even the rangefinder portion worked fine but the mounting system is just garbage! If Bresser would make a rock solid mounting system or there was an aftermarket one available I would be try it again.

I mounted this to my Tac 15. I used a 1 inch plastic pipe and a scope mount ring. I mounted it to my Optimizer scope mount. It moves when I adjust the scope. The Tac 15 is a violent fast bow. Rips off the fletching on by bolts mid flight and turns off my night vision scope due to the post shot shock. The Bresser range finder and mount is holding up well so far.

I really thought that this would be really helpful for my hunts. It may have been, if I could get it mounted tightly. The mounting plate cracked when trying to tighten. At no point could I get this thing tightened down to a point that it would not move when I put my bow in a Pelican case. If anything touched it after I set it down, it would shift. Due to this I could never get it dialed in to get me an accurate reading on my bow target. Of the two batteries that were in the box, one was dead.You are better of with a hand held range finder.

When I received the rangefinder, I did not open the box for six weeks. That’s when I discovered the rangefinder was defective. It would not range any distance over 20 yards. I called Bresser the manufacturer and they told me since I did not register it within 30 days and there was nothing they could do for me and I would have to buy a new rangefinder. I insisted that they sent me a defective product, that was brand new and never used and they hung me out to dry and did not do anything for me. Terrible customer service and will never buy one of their products again I just thought you should all know my experience with them and buyer beware

The battery that was sent had corroded thru each end, hardware was extremely cheap and range finder is way off even when using the supplied laser sight, very disappointing

I agree with the first person, the mounting system needs to be more ridged. I have worked with product over and over for about a month trying to make it work out. I have come to the conclusion I will eat my loss.

Little annoying to zero in with scope just take your time. Once set it's accurate and works well.
