Scotch Tear By Hand Mailing Packaging Tape, 1.88 x 629 Inch, Clear (3841)(2Pack )

This tape is wide enough to insure packages stay closed and is easy to tear by hand, even with my arthritis. I use it all the time for large packages of toilet paper, paper towels, etc. so the items I am not using right now stay clean and dust-free in the basement until I need them. The tape does not get gummy and sticky on the back or yellowed, and it can be reused again and again to reclose packages. It also works very well to pick up lint (and dog fur) off clothing. I'm glad it is available on Amazon since the local stores seldom have it any more.

I am a big online shopper and LOVE this tape when I happen to need to return ship an item. It adheres really well and you don't have to dig around for a pair of scissors to cut the tape. Sounds silly, but it is so much more convenient. I love this stuff! It is hard to find in stores so I'm glad Amazon always has tear-by-hand for sale online. Thank you 3M!

For all the peoples that ever had to "fight" with a roll of packaging tape, you have to try this tape. It just tears and never sticks to itself, yet it sticks to the object you are taping. I have you used this tape for years, then all the sudden I had a hard time finding in the stores. When I did find it, I would buy at least 5 rolls. Now I can't find it at any office, hobby or discount type stores, so I order it from Amazon. I literally can not be out of this stuff. My whole family feel the same way, as we all have gotten frustrated with the other type of tapes you can not tear by hand. Give it a try, as this is the best tape ever!

Love this stuff! Easier to use than any other tape or brand I've found. Have used it for years and lovingly refer to it as "terrible tape" even though it's wonderful and EASY to use!

Without a way to keep the tape from sticking back on itself it can be a struggle to use. If you use your hand to keep that from happening the easy tear is just that. Working on many boxes at once makes this easier. All in all ok. Not sure the premium price is worth it.

I carry a roll of this in my computer bag. Use it for the usual things, but also have used it to tape up hems, tape curtains at hotels, tape doors open/closed that won't stay in place, etc. Handy to have with me always.

Once you've used tear by hand tape, you never want to deal with the hassle of a dispenser again. Great both as tape and for laminating small items.
