Easy to remove, but can lead to chapped lips
I used Hush Strips for about two months after SomniFix became temporarily out of stock. At first, I thought I liked the Hush Strips better. The material is breathable, they are very comfortable to wear, and they are easy to remove. However, the adhesive is not as gentle to my lips as the SomniFix adhesive. After using Hush Strips repeatedly, my lips were more prone to chapping. Also, the flexibility, which I thought was a good thing at first because the Hush Strips are comfortable to wear, is actually not as good a thing because Hush Strips stretch so much that my jaw relaxes more and I snore with them. Although the SomniFix strips are stiffer, that is something that is easy to get used to. Also, I've never had chapped lips as a result of SomniFix.

Not "Gentle"
Loved these strips because they have good coverage of my mouth and don't loosen up during the night. The problem is in the morning when I try to remove it. They pull my skin very badly and make my skin irritated. I can't use a very effective strip because of this problem. I'll try others.

They do keep your mouth shut
Easy to put on and they look funny on you.I do keep your mouth from opening, but be careful trying to peel them off in the morning. I use warm to hot water to soak through and to soften the adhesion to make it easier to get them off my lips.

Best I’ve found!
I’ve been wearing these nightly for nearly 2 years, so thought I should weigh in:This particular tape, when worn with my CPAP (plus eye mask, plus getting sober!) have made it possible for me to actually SLEEP!!!The tape is not perfect, but it’s the best I’ve found, and I’ve tried several brands. It feels like a bandaid over my mouth, meaning it’s comfortable enough, but not the most pleasant thing in the world to remove in the morning. But you do what you gotta do, right?!The nightly tape has likely contributed to more wrinkles around my lips, but again, get the sleep or don’t get the sleep! It does help for me to keep my face and lips moisturized throughout the day, especially during cold, dry winters.True about the coughing claustrophobia, as another reviewer mentioned. Coughing or sneezing at night can be a little scary, bc the tape will stay on, and it can be a little nerve-wracking to have to peel it off during a coughing or sneezing episode. Again, calculated hazard to the benefits! As I alluded to it, I have OSA (probably like you, if you’re reading this!), and use this tape with a CPAP. Without the tape, I was mouth-breathing, which is also a sleep-wrecker. I have perpetual sinus issues and deviated symptom (again, nothing new to you, I’m sure). But the tape + CPAP has been a game changer for me, requiring me to breathe through my nose (even with its limitations), and giving me the best sleep I’ve had to this point in my life (I’m 48, untreated OSA since I was 18 or younger. Terrifying to think about all the chronic sleep deprivation damage that’s likely been done!).Unfortunately, treating OSA is tricky and no fun, and we’re all dealing with it the best we can with whatever awkward devices are currently available to us (cpaps and mouth tape). But try this particular tape. If it works for you as it has for me, you will be exceedingly thankful! Good luck and SLEEP for us all!!

Still can snore through them but wake up feeling refreshed!
Updated review: Even though I still snore through then some I wake up feeling refreshed! I’m ordering another box, these actually do work on giving you a better nights sleep!!First review: They feel great stick and unstick well, comes off a little rough but I use water to help. I recorded myself while using these and I snored right through them and it stayed on the entire time. Does not work for a true mouth breathing snoring person🥲

Hush and the other brand are both great!
I started out a few years ago using the other brand on Amazon, you know the one from Shark Tank! Around a year ago I added HUSH strips to my sleep hygiene and I like the fact they're made in Korea which is a modern country. Both brands are good and not perfect but I always have both brands on hand depending on which one I feel like for the night. I've had a terrible time sleeping most of my life and now with a combination of silicon ear plugs, proper light reduction using sleep masks and/or blackout blinds, and mouth tape I'm finally happy with how I'm sleeping. My fitness/sleep tracker also helps me evaluate where I'm at and my sleep is finally good and I'm able to spend less total time in bed!

Better than other brands - love the softness and flexibility
I've tried other means, but I like these strips by far the best, and they work. They are soft, comfortable, and large enough to get a good seal around the entire mouth. They are also a bit flexible, so I can adjust them for the best fit. With other brands, I've had the issue of my lips parting a bit during sleep and then saliva moistening the skin around the mouth, and the other brand strips came off and didn't keep my mouth sealed anymore. With the Hush strips, my mouth remains closed and sealed all night (8-10 hours), and I don't even feel it. While lying in bed, I do sometimes have to take off the strip at least partially to take a tablet with water in the morning, but then I reseal my mouth and go back to sleep, and the strip still works for another two hours or so. I really love the softness and flexibility of the strips. They do have a slight odor when first coming out of the package, but it's not too strong where it bothers me, and I'm usually sensitive to odors. I really love the Hush strips and will use them from now on all the time.
