Great Value!
Whats not to love about an Anchor Hocking measuring cup?! Its made in the USA! I will say it is a bit heavy if you are an older person and have arthritis issues, but it is easy to read and holds alot!

Markings are more durable
I purchased one of these about two years ago and recently purchased another. These are great measuring cups that I have been using for heating food in the microwave, mixing batter, and making smoothies. The Anchor Hocking folks told me two years ago that using Lemi-Shine in the dishwasher could cause the marks to fade. I took their advice to heart. I greatly decreased the amount of L-S I use in the dishwasher and the dishes come out just as clean as before. I also wash these larger cups by hand most of the time. My recent purchase was to replace a Pyrex cup. When you have the two brands side by side it is easy to see that the A-H cup markings are heavier and more durable.

Retro look and bright, clear markings
The markings on my 40-year-old one-cup measure had all but worn off, and it was VERY difficult to find a one-cup measure locally! I hated to order something so small via mail - seems wasteful - so I decided to spend a few extra bucks for this retro-style measuring cup. Clear, easy to read, and hopefully it will last me another 40 years!

Much better than the Pyrex knockoff
Like Pyrex, the original Anchor Hocking company no longer exists. However, this measuring cup is worlds better than the comparable Pyrex measuring cup. Unlike the Pyrex, this item is heavier, thicker, and doesn't spill when pouring. I returned the Pyrex and got this instead. No regrets whatsoever.

Exactly what I wanted
Nice sturdy, easy to read measuring cup. The only diference from the "old time Pyrex" is the open handle (which is easier to access if you have big hands).I don't know why some reviews complain of the spout being a problem: I find this cup pours cleanly and does not "dribble".

Thick and durable
Thick and durable, I bet I will last for years. The mark is clear and easy to ready. Only thing bothering me is after using it with milk, it cannot be cleaned by rinsing, need to mopping. Another thing is when I was reading the title I thought the “2-cup” was refer to quality, turns out to be my fault.
