UPDATE: I ended up finding more lice in my daughter’s hair a couple weeks later. It has to be that a couple survived the treatment and multiplied. Because her brothers didn’t have any more and they go to school (she doesn’t yet). It makes sense because her hair is long and curly, so I am not deducting a star because her hair texture is not the company’s fault. But it was still heartbreaking nonetheless. Did a super thorough treatment last week, followed up with Lice Shampoo, and bought a Lice Prevention Hair Spray for all 3. Praying this last treatment was the end! Oh, and I still have treatment and shampoo left from my first box (I ordered 2 boxes initially as a precaution). And I’ve used it multiple times, probably around 10 treatments overall. Took 2 treatments, but it worked. I was devastated when all 3 of my kiddos got the dreaded head lice from a schoolmate. All 3 have curly hair, so it was especially difficult. My husband cut the boys hair down, then I did the treatment on them. My daughter then had her treatment. 2 days later, I see my boys still have eggs, so I did another treatment on them. My daughter thankfully didn’t need a 2nd treatment. I was relieved when the 2nd treatment did it for my boys. Treatment is easy to put on, easy to wash off. I felt confident the shampoo also helped them not to re-catch lice since I have no clue whether or not everyone at their school got checked. I don’t mind the price because it actually worked. Oh and one little bottle allows for many treatments, I even treated my own hair as a precaution/paranoia lol. Would definitely recommend this treatment.

Worked for mine! I guess because I caught them when it was super early in the stages of nits. I kept repeating everyday honestly for the whole week and kept been and rosemary in their hair religiously lol

Our daughter got lice from a school friend. Not having had any experience with lice before, I purchased this thinking it’d be a one and done deal. We took our time reading the instructions and we spent several hours making sure we applied it properly and combed section by section to get any lice. While combing I noticed that some of the lice seemed to still be moving. After bagging up the combed out lice you could clearly see a couple roaming around the bag. We assumed that they would die after a couple of hours since they had come into contact with the lice solution. Afterwards we stripped the house and washed anything that could be infected by the lice. A couple of days later we were horrified to realize she was still infested. The solution obviously didn’t kill them all, or it hadn’t killed the eggs and they’d hatched. We ended up having to use this treatment two more times, as well as a daily lice spray from another company. I honestly think the lice spray killed off the remaining ones. I would recommend using this product in conjunction with a daily treatment for about a week if you really want to be sure you’ve killed them all.

I recently used RID Max Lice Treatment, and I’m very satisfied with the results. Dealing with lice can be stressful, but this product made the process much more manageable. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the application was straightforward. I appreciated that it came with a comb, which really helped with removing the lice and nits after treatment. The formula wasn’t overly harsh, and it didn’t have a strong, unpleasant smell like I expected.

This is my worst nightmare. It is the first time we have had a lice outbreak at my kids daycare. My friend recommended this and I followed the instructions by doing the 1st initial treatment and everyday after that we all washed our hair with the defend shampoo/conditioner. ..And I combed with the nit brush after every shampoo for the first 4 days just to make sure I was getting all of the nits out. My pediatrician recommended repeating a second treatment 9/10 days after the first initial treatment to make sure everything is good. I will say I don’t see any live lice! It seems to be working !!! . The only thing I don’t like about this product is it’s pretty pricey and the bottle of solution is small. I had to buy 3 packages to do 2 treatments each. There are 4 of us. 2 with short hair and 2 with long. I would definitely use this product again .. but hopefully there won’t be a next time ! 😩 be sure to wash all of your bed sheets, clothing , blankets, car seat covers on a hot cycle!

It is gentle. Not sure I like the oil in the conditioner. It is coconut oil and a mixture of other oils that is supposed to suffocate any bugs on your head. Safer than pesticide but I don't think works as well plus the oil goes everywhere. Probably won't get again.
