I already had these in a right-handed version so when my daughter needed a left-hand set it was a no-brainer.Cheap shears are usually stamped steel that are too light and have a lot of flex. Better shears are cast steel with machining to clean up the blades and joints, but are often rushed and sloppy.These shears have clean, smooth lines and the blades and joint are well-machined. Overall the scissors have good balance and so far they hold a sharp edge very well.This is one of those things you should spend a few more bucks to get and feel the difference each time you pick them up. I love them.

I’m a licensed hairdresser and these are very nice scissors for the price. I have purchased them 3 times now for home, at my mom's house and at my grandkid’s house for when I visit and do haircuts. The quality is not what you would get with pricey professional scissors, but still very nice for home use. They have good balance and are strong.
