We replaced a super old after-market stereo with this one and it completely modernized our old corolla! The installation was actually really easy.The stereo itself works great!My favorite thing about it is Apple CarPlay, which works wonders on this stereo. It boots up fast and works really well.I was also surprised by the quality of the EQ presets, they changed the sound of the songs in a really noticeable way for me :) so I’m excited to play around with that.Overall, This is the one you want if you want a nice stereo on a budget!The ONLY thing I could think of as a “con” is that the touch screen lags just a bit compared to an iPhone in certain screens and features, but that’s hardly something to hold me back on (and it’s not even an issue with the radio app or Apple CarPlay where the phone is the processor anyway)

The mirror screen doesn’t work even if the screen does say download the app by scanning the QR Code. The screen freezes sometimes but I fix it by pressing the big clear button and it goes back to functioning normal. Overall, it’s apple play radio and it does what I need it to do by connecting my iPhone in it and it plays my music with an apple Home Screen. And GPS as well. it’s nothing compared to my other apple play radio that I payed more for. so If you are looking for a nice functional radio, I’d pay more for one rather than this. If you are looking for something that wants your basic necessities with some flaws here and there, then this radio is the way to go!

I gave it 4 stars for installation only because I was installing this newer model radio into a 2002 Avalanche...Pain in the rear BUT...I did manage to get it installed myself after some trial and error. Now it works great, sound is excellent, my subs pound harder and I don't have to knuckle the touch screen to change stations. Can also play movies via USB, microSD and android auto. Perfect radio if you're the kind of person that likes to hangout in your car or truck.

Stereo is very good for the money, but the problem is, it doesn't fit in any dashboard kit because it's not standard double din size, but slightly bigger which makes it unusable unless you know how to modify your dashboard kit plastic. The problem is you really need good tools and knowledge, I ruined two of them trying different things and I wouldn't recommend anyone doing that without proper tools and knowledge. Now I'm $50 down and I cannot return the stereo I don't need. Bottom line, don't buy it.

Showed up on time and was easy to install. It works good and has a lot of audio adjustments on the equalizer. The directions weren't that great for wiring in the backup camera but I have done that before so it wasnt too hard(if you have no experience with that you may want someone else to install it for you). Only problem is the camera can be a little distorted at times, kind of flashing in and out, and also the mirrorlink/android auto/ apple carplay will not work at all with my one+ Android phone.

Can’t beat the price for Apple Car Play. Easy set up and works way better than expected. I have an amp and subs and the sound quality is surprisingly good. Screen qualify is okay but for the price you can’t complain.

I ordered this based on reviews and of course price.The good:I ordered the Scosche FD16B wiring harness and the wire colors matched, so after just a few minutes of soldering/heatshrinking, installation was plug-and-play in our 2005 E450.The steering wheel control attaches easily to the wheel with elastic/velcro strap and linked to the radio instantly.The initial setup was fairly simple and straight forward.Sound (radio) is perfectly acceptable for a low price radio.MirrorLink connected well with my Samsung S9.The bad:Steering wheel controller slides around wheel. Maybe 2-sided tape would help.... but was irrelevant in my case because the controller only works about 15% of the time..... and got pulled off and thrown into the passenger seat within the first 20 minutes.There is no AM band. The radio does not have an AM band selection at all!The touchscreen selections are terrible. There is an auto-program button for stations on the MAIN RADIO screen! Any time your finger gets close to it (a bump in the road since it's at the lower left corner of the screen) will immediately erase ALL of the pre-sets and begin auto-programming!!!Bluetooth/hands-free by itself seems to work OK.... however if you have mirror-link connected (cable) the hands-free/BT has such a TERRIBLE LAG that talking on the phone is IMPOSSIBLE!This radio is getting returned.

Works surprisingly well for how cheap it is. CarPlay started up no issues, equalizer has plenty of adjustment. It’s a cheap radio so don’t expect much but it does what it is advertised to do.
