The stainless bolts supplied were too long
Oh well, I guess boat hulls come in different thicknesses. I just bolted it on, marked the bolts, and hacksawed them. It's a great ladder, especially at that price. For years I have been looking for a ladder for my jon boat. I think this is going to fit the bill.

What a product
I recently purchased the Xinkunmarine 3 Step Telescoping Dive Ladder from Amazon, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This ladder is an essential accessory for anyone who loves diving, snorkeling, or swimming in open water.First and foremost, the build quality is exceptional. The ladder feels sturdy and well-made, with durable stainless steel construction that can withstand the rigors of marine environments without rusting or corroding. I've used it on multiple diving excursions, and it still looks and performs like new.The telescoping design is another standout feature of this ladder. It allows for easy deployment and retraction, making it a breeze to access the water from a boat or dock. The three-step configuration provides ample space for climbing in and out of the water, even when wearing fins or carrying gear.

A good deal at the price, good for boats with limited space on stern
Comes with a bracket that bolts to the back of your boat. The bracket has a slot that two nubs on the back of the latter slide into. It was perfect for my boat because I don't have much room back there and you can take the ladder off the bracket and stow it. Alternatively, if it is too long or wide for your stern, you can store it upside down with the ladder pointing up.Much more stable than the hook type removable stern ladders, which always seem to shift position while you're trying to climb in. But a little less stable than those that bolt directly to the stern. Good enough for me.You can spend 4x as much at West Marine for a similar ladder that looks about the same and is probably a tad less wiggly. It all depends on your budget and what you want. For me, $80 for this thing was a real steal.

dangerous and flimsy
0 stars. The black covers are easily detached from the ladder. During a very first test this happened to my wife and the lower step's black cover's sharp edge cut my wife's leg from her ankle to her knee. Also, the ladder is very flimsy on its own - it bends inwards making it difficult to climb.

Exceeded expectations
Was a little worried by some of the reviews but worked perfectly for me and quality seems great. Only snivel, the supplied bolts are very short. Had to get my own stainless bolts to reach through the transom.

Not impresses
Firstly, the bolts provided are only 2 inches, making them far too short for any boat I know of. I had to go find bolts that were long enough.Secondly, there is the problem of plastic steps coming off. On the first use, getting out the water, one of the plastic steps came off. I would suggest anyone choosing to buy this product make a plan to secure the steps before use.Once installed, they work ok. They are a little wobbly, but support 250lb well. On my bass boat, I needed a ladder I could remove when I didn't need it and this does that well.Just a pity about the faults.

Stainless Passed Magnet Test
Holes all drilled and due to thickness of transom plus 3/8 aluminum backing plate I used longer stainless bolts with lock nuts, which are standard flat-head & available in local hardware store. Due to some negative reviews regarding the non skid step covers sliding off I removed and snapped them back on with GE silicone that will act as glue to not have that issue. Ladder & bracket appear extremely well made and it was the only one I found that telescopes down to short length to stow in a small locker.
