this worked great for such an affordable kit! colors were easily applied and showed up brightly! the kids loved it!

Love the color choices. Easily washes off if needed. Stencils were a little tricky but they work good enough. Great value for the price in my opinion.

I used this kit at a 1st grade school event with 20 kids and it was HUGE hit! I practiced the day before to get a feel of the best paint consistency and opted to utilize the stencils to save time and self-embarrassment for my pathetic freehand. Keep a small cup of water, a bottle of clean water, a mirror for the kids to see and plenty of baby wipes nearby before you begin. This kit will have more than enough paint for 40-50 designs. Thank goodness for the stencils - the kids were able to decide ahead of time what they wanted, the stencils were easy to apply and remove and the designs were fool proof! Most kids wanted the designs on their hands so they could see them and lined back up again to get 2nd and 3rd designs which barely put a dent in the paints and there was plenty to go around. The consistency of the paint is key - too much water and the color will bleed underneath the stencil. Start with a slightly damp brush (gently squeeze out the water with a paper towel) or spray the paint lightly with water and mix up the color with the brush to a slightly pasty consistency. If it gets too watery, dab the top of the paint with a baby wipe to pick up the excess water and mix with the brush again. Glitter is best applied using a damp finger (I used a baby wipe to dampen my forefinger) and lightly dab it on the skin around the design, rather than on top of the design to avoid smearing the paint. The design can easily be touched up or removed with a baby wipe. I highly recommend this kit for any event - make yourself look like the best cool parent in any class event to show off to all your kids friends. ;)

Well we just opened the Blue squid ultimate party pack face paints for kids today and are trying it out now! I got it for my 6yo as a birthday present and she says she loves it! She loves all the variety of paint colors, the 3 different sized paint brushes, the hair chalk sticks, gems, glitter and stencils too. I am not a facepainting artist by any means, but this sure is fun! Definitely easy to use and get creative with. My kid is the little artist and she is really having fun and enjoying the kit! The quality of everything seems very good and it is a great value price wise for the quality and variety of items included! It even comes with a face painting guide as a starting point with step by step pictures which is so helpful and the stencils are useful for those who don't want to paint freehand! The brushes paint on smoothly, the paint colors are vivid and bright, some of the lighter colors you may have to do more than one coat of paint. The gems stick well on the skin and stay in place. The facepaint dries relatively quickly (within a couple minutes), it doesn't smudge easily once dry, and majority of colors are pretty easy to wipe off with just water. Some colors do lightly stain your skin like the aqua blue, red and black! Might need to scrub off with facecloth, soap and water or maybe even makeup remover. So overall, really happy with this purchase, the variety of colors and items included in the kit, the good quality, the ease of use and cleanup.

I am really impressed with these face paints. I consider myself to be a moderately experienced professional face painter and I have used everything from waxy Halloween face painting kits to hobby store kits to professional palettes. I needed new paints for doing face painting at my daughter’s school fall festival, and after reading the reviews I decided to give these a try. The color saturation is very nice, they glide on easily, it’s easy to achieve desired consistency, and there is plenty of paint to do a lot of faces. If you were to do only single designs instead of half or full faces, you could easily paint more than 100 people. I did a super quick test on my arm to see coverage, how well it glides, dry time, and bleed point (how much water is too much before it starts feathering and bleeding colors - you can see on the right side of my ice cream cone that I had too much water for my black outline). It also feels great on the skin and moves and flexes well so as to not crack. It passed the “squish” test: squishing or stretching the skin to see if any cracks or smudges/distortions appear once the skin returns to normal. It also passed the “dry smudge” test: rubbing dry fingers over the finished dry painting to see if anything smudges or cracks. I did not have a chance yet to test how the paint reacts to sweating. Will update my review once I test that and have some results. I haven’t tested the hair chalk, but I did take a test drive of the glitter. Unfortunately, the large chunks didn’t stay in place well on their own, so I won’t use this glitter for my daughter’s school event. You would probably need some sort of clear primer/gel to make it stay. The inclusion of face and hair stick-on gems is a nice addition. Overall, I’m extremely happy and satisfied with the performance of the paint and value of this kit. I would definitely recommend it and purchase it again!

I think the people who struggled with this didn't follow directions. We didn't even have to use a white base layer, and it came out perfect. This is my first ever attempt at face paint, so it's definitely a user-friendly product.

Kit arrived with colors out of place, I was slightly surprised they weren’t broken in the shipping process but after just putting them back in place, it was fine. Beautiful vibrant color. So far the sponge feature did not work as great. I would rather make the paste with the brush and paint it on. I do wish the sponge made the color as vibrant and bold but I’m still extremely happy with this purchase! Some colors did take extra efforts to get off (like the Red/pink) using a wipe didn’t work on those colors, and even scrubbing in the shower with soap and hot water and a loufa didn’t get the stain out. I will be keeping that in mind when I paint the kids faces... it didn’t stain too terribly bad... but still feel I should mention it. Please see photo of before and after. The glitter was packaged quite impressively! I do wish the stencils provided weren’t just a one time use Sticker. The stickers adhesive is pretty strong so a child might find the Sri let removal process rather painful- almost like a bandaid I also wish some full size face stencils were provided as that is usually the most requested designs. The “how to” booklet still seems a bit advanced for someone who has never done this before! overall though- the product itself is what I’m most impressed with, the paint comes in a powder form and dehydrated of sorts, you kinda treat it like watercolors... dip your brush in water and then make the paint by swirling the brush in the packed powder. And also just like water color paint the more water you use the more translucent the paint will be, the less water you use the more thick and vibrant the paint will be- at that rate it would take a very long time to use up all this paint!

Use: the pictures are misleading because if you want full coverage faces... you are not going to get it with this. That boy leopard on the cover.... not with this pallet unless I’m doing something wrong. Clean off: yes it all wipes off babies face nice and easy... but the bright colors stain. And I mean for a day or two. Clean up: yes very easy to clean up and I do like that. The brushes that are provided are great! Spunges... they just absorb all of the make up, so don’t use it to apply but to blend colors is better. All in all I love the colors, and the pallet set up is nice, but de finally need a way bigger tub for white and black. I have done three faces and almost out of white. Again that could because the coverage is not full... unless you cover-then dry-then cover- and dry... idk. For a first time kit it’s great, but white and black need to be way bigger! Hope this helps

My children are into face paint at the moment, I initially brought some from a local shop but wasn't impressed. I then looked on Amazon and found these for a fraction of the price, with much more included. My order came through next day. My children was impressed with these face paints as they had so much more variety in colours. You also get stencils, paint brushes and a book to help you with designs. They haven't stopped using them. I would recommend these face paints and the seller. I wish I had just brought these ones from the beginning I would have saved money.

Great value product. Bought for a fundraising event and loads left even though there were queues of kids all day! Good quality paint. No problem using on sensitive skin. Would buy again.

Die Farben sind kräftig, lassen sich gut auftragen und decken bereits mit einer dünnen Schicht sehr schön. Mit etwas Wasser lassen sie sich leicht anmischen und gleichmäßig verteilen. Besonders positiv finde ich, dass sich die Schminke nach dem Gebrauch problemlos wieder mit Wasser und etwas Seife entfernen lässt. Das Set eignet sich perfekt für Kindergeburtstage, Karneval, Halloween oder einfach zum kreativen Spielen zu Hause. Durch die vielen Farben und Möglichkeiten kann man unzählige Motive schminken – von Schmetterlingen über Tiger bis hin zu Superhelden. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt aus meiner Sicht. Man bekommt ein umfangreiches Set, das einen hochwertigen Eindruck macht und lange Freude bereitet. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen und kann es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
