Review: Sturdy and Reliable Luggage - I’ve taken the Samsonite Luggage on many international flights, and it has held up extremely well. The hard shell is very durable and has protected my belongings through all kinds of handling. The spinner wheels make it super easy to navigate airports, and the expandable feature is a huge plus when I need a little extra room. The only issue I encountered was during a trip to Singapore when one of the wheels fell off. Luckily, there was a Samsonite service center nearby, and they repaired it in just 30 minutes for $35. It was a quick and easy fix, and the luggage has been performing perfectly ever since. Overall, I highly recommend this suitcase!
Review: S'ouvre par le centre et non par le dessus linge tombe - Malcommode s'ouvre au milieu et non sur le dessus. Doit toujours savoir de quel côté ouvrir la valise. Mais solide légère et bonne roulettes!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why does the title say carry-on if it isn't?**
A: It says the overall dimensions are 22.5x15.5x9.5 in the description at the top. This does not meet carry-on dimensions of 22x14x9 for almost all US carriers.

**Q: I don’t have instructions how to set up locks.**
A: 1. Open the lock (0-0-0)
2. Press down on the reset button with a tool until you hear a “click” sound
3. Set your combination by turning the dials
4. The lock can now be open when you push the button. You will hear a “click” when the reset button releases

**Q: Do these three nest inside each other for storage?**
A: Yes they do nest inside of each other

**Q: What is the total weight of the 20" luggage?**
A: The weight is slightly over 8 lbs. (if my travel scale is absolutely correct)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I bought it used
*by L***A on 12 January 2023*

The color in pictured isn’t at all the same purple. The purple that I received was a more muted metallic purple (thank goodness). I was worried that it would be a super bright purple like in the picture but I was buying it last minute (4 days before my trip) and it was used and I wasn’t sure that I’d receive it in time so I didn’t have time to be too picky. Thankfully, I received it in time to disinfect it and let it dry before I packed my clean clothes in it. I was pleasantly surprised by the color. It took a beating by the baggage handlers (as do all the luggage) and came out looking as fresh as a daisy at our destination. My daughter’s hardside luggage was small enough and light enough to be a carry-on but we checked it anyway and it was cracked when we got it back (it was an off brand and I only bought it because she insisted on having a pink luggage and it had to be a specific pink color; I bought hers used a couple years ago). My luggage was easy to maneuver around in a crowded airport and I expect it to last awhile because my other Samsonite luggage has lasted about 8 years and is still going strong. This hardside has a zipper down the middle so when you open it and try to have one side up, stuff on the other side will fall if it’s not zippered/strapped in. So, you have to open it with both sides down (obviously). Overall, I really like this luggage.
