I've been using this for 5 months now and it is very secure on my dash. Very strong magnet! Reliable 3M brand VHB tape. Sleek looking on my dash, it almost looks like it was part of the vehicle originally. Great price. I absolutely love it! The oblong shape of it makes it perfect for today's bigger and heavier cell phones as it has more surface area than smaller circular magnetic mounts, it holds on strong! My phone never falls off of this thing. The best part about magnetic mounts is you just slap your phone on it and it sticks, then you just pull it off to remove. Ive tried other mounts that clamp your phone in and press button to release, but they are horrible. Once you've have a good magnetic mount, you won't want anything else.

Up graded to 5 stars; I was contacted by the seller of this phone mount and they sent me a new mount that works perfectly i guess i just got a defective mount the first time, That is great customer service.. I gave this mount two stars because the base mount will not tighten up enough to keep it from moving . the ball in the mount is fine, i tried to tighten the screw in the back of the mount but it will not tighten enough to keep the base from wobbling around when my phone is in the mount, I like the mount other than that, it is easy to install it holds my phone just fine, the adhesive that comes with it works well. The magnet holds fine. I like the size of the mount, you can place it almost anywhere Maybe i just got a bad one? Update on seller ; They replaced this mount for free, and also i recently changed vehicles and sent them a request for some mounting tape and they sent me a new mount again free, Amy was great to deal with, great customer service.

I have three different cars and all have the typical phone mounts you set your phone on and squeeze the sides to hold it in place. In one of my new Semi Trucks I needed something easier. I didn’t want to have to keep pressing a button to release the phone and then squeeze the sides when I wanted to set it back on the mount. Additionally I needed something with lots and lots of holding power because on these horrible California roads the cab of Semi Truck sometimes feels like a very strong earthquake. This phone mount checked all the boxes. I am super happy with my purchase. Pros: The adhesive on the mount is secure to the dash (which is not very smooth plastic). This mount has held my phone in place throughout some very very bad roads and does not move one bit. Very easy to set my phone on the mount or take it off. Can rotate the phone when on the mount in any direction without having to mess with the mount it self. Can charge my phone with standard cable because nothing is blocking the charging port. I was able to position it in the location I wanted where most other mounts would not fit. Cons: NONE I’ll try to remember and post some pics next time I’m in my truck.
