Purchased this as a gift for a family member that needs closed bail reels due to their arthritis. It feels like a solid setup and the pole is relatively stiff so I think it should be able to cast a good distance. Based on what I prefer in a traditional spinning combo, this should be a big upgrade for what my gift recipient is currently using.

The Graphite poll broke after just two uses. When I caught my first fish with it which was about 1 lb in weight, the poll broke approximately 12 inches down from the tip. The reel is working fine but now I have no poll. Because the rell and poll was purchased two months ago I can't get my money back from Amazon because of the return policy. $160 dollars wasted if I have no poll to use with the reel. I do not recommend this item.

Okay. So this is basically the zebco we all remember, but very high spec. This reel is a lot smoother than the classic plastic style. Great for getting a long cast or if you need accuracy around low hanging trees. I don’t think I would mess around in salt water with it but it’s really a perfect lake pole for any bass.

Love the Bullet, but the rod broke on first cast. Asked for refund, but no luck. Do yourself a favor and purchase the reel separately and place it on an Ugly Stick.

my buddy said he was gonna get one of these .. i told him he was crazy for spending that much money for a push button fishing reel !!!to eat my words , i came home and looked up this bullet ..9 ball bearing , 8 disk clutch, titanium spool , metal gears :oyes , all that kinda impressed me but the reviews of it being so heavy .. dont believe the hype !i am almost 51 own 15 different set ups and have fished since i was 5 !!when i was young , everything was made in america and was usually a good buy !this reel is made like the old school reel ..bow fins , bass , crappy , perch , so far it has caught em all !! with out a hick up to !the smoothest drag i have ever seen on a closed face reel !!!10 lb test it will almost throw outta line with a med sized lure !best of all about this reel , everytime i pick it up , i remember the times with my dad fishing !!!!!!!this is my number 1 pole , i use now for smaller to med fish !i am gonna buy another as back up ,

Bought 5 rods and reels,Zebco to my surprise they should have two spools of line all of the high end Zebco reels do. 😣☹️
