I am a mom of two young boys. I don't know anything about men haircare products. I did some research and this was they type of product suggested for what I was wanting. The boys are 3 and 5. I do their hair and use my hair spray and it's wrecked with in 30 minutes. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! I love that it's matte and doesn't give them a slick shine. It holds. Like really holds. And when they do mess their hair up, I can just run my fingers through their hair and re shape it and it stays!!! I'm so glad this product was on of the first ones Amazon listed. I went with it over the name brand one because it name. Both boys are named after ski resorts--Bridger and Brighton. I just couldn't pass Rocky Mountain hair product 🤗 Thanks for making such a great product! You have a lifetime customer now!

I've been ordering this stuff for years. It holds your hair where you want it for the most part after a shower, and once it dries if you touch it you'll lose the wet look which is what I'm looking for. No complaints.

I'm revising my previous review. After giving it some time and playing with it, I've figured out how to use it on my hair type (fine, wiry, wavy). I towel dry my hair so there's almost no moisture left, but not bone dry, then I emulsify this product by rubbing a fingernail size amount between my palms and fingers quickly until it becomes very warm and tacky. I work it through my hair ONCE, since overworking it makes my hair greasy, but doing it once makes it perfectly matte and held in place.I LOVE the mostly natural ingredients and how they don't leave my hair dry or sticky. I've also occasionally woken up and not had to restyle my hair that day. The scent has also really grown on me--it's kind of a subtle, natural barbershop smell that doesn't try to be your cologne.

The best part of it - a nice tin and fancy picture.Hardly holds hair. The paste is pretty hard and when you try to take some with your finger you need to rub it and as a result finger just a little bit white (color of paste)Overall after some others - this is super bad

My favorite pomade. Hold is strong, smell is pleasant without being overpowering, shine is medium, performance is 10/10.

This stuff seemed promising, but mine arrived in poor condition. The can and box were fine, but the paste itself had clearly seen some odd temperature fluctuation because the top third was HARD and waxy, while the bottom third was the consistency of milky whipped cream... odd. After mashing it around in my hands for 5 minutes, it seems to work great in my hair, but there are still hard waxy bits that are annoying and need to be picked out. Maybe I just got a bad batch?

Easy to apply and easy to wash out.
