We have 4 fans of different brands. Recently got the Crompton wave plus (400mm) white colour and have been using it for 15 days, about 15 hours a day. (Model Without remote control)Pros - 1. the most silent pedestal fan I have used compared to any of the other fans at all 3 speed levels.2. It has the widest air throw compared to the other fans we have. Within 10ft distance the air flow is about 10ft wide without using oscillation mode.Air throw distance also exceeds the other fans. 25ft easily.3. Much more silent than the other 3 blade and 5 blade fans.Cons -There are no real negatives I could spot.1. The stem feels flimsy but does its job well.2. I wouldn't mind paying 100rs extra for wheels below the pedestal.Overall.One of the best fans you can buy with a 2 yr warranty. Better than anything in the market that I have used in the same price range. I will be adding 2 more of the same model shortly.

We ordered 3 fans, 2 for office and 1 for home. Out of 2 office fans, one started making noise right on 1st day, so we returned it.Home fan bent so much so in 15 days that it was bearly usable even after tying it with rope. Service engineer who came for inspection told us that this is company defect and they are getting similar complaints from 2-3 users out of 10. But the agency refused to replace free of cost even though fan has 2 years warranty and we had to pay Rs.650/- for switch panel as matter was urgent for us.Verdict : Do not buy, find other brand. Crompton is not the same Crompton which used to be years before.. 😞😡

The fan has been performing really well over the last ten days. It gives strong, high-speed cool air and is perfect for beating the heat. However, there are a few issues that need to be highlighted. The product description mentioned that a remote control would be included, but no remote was provided in the box. There was also no manual or guide to help with assembling the fan.Additionally, when I contacted Crompton’s service team, they informed me that they do not provide any assembly support.

1. Very noisy2. Installation is difficult3. No remote control4. Most of the body parts are make of plastic5. Appearance is decent6. Air flow is ok7. Performance wise i can't comment it's too early8. Since i got discount....per price i would say.. i am satisfied

Extremely satisfied with the item.The assembling took some time,may because I am doing it for the first time,there are youtube videos available . Particularly found it difficult to understand how to extend the steel pipe.Also took some time aligning the front and back grills correctly to stay together.Also notice that the knob to control rotation need to be attached as part of assembling as it doesn't come fit in.But once finished the assembling the cool air gave a great sense of achievement and happiness that i purchased a good product worth it value.

I recently purchased a fan online, expecting a cool breeze to alleviate the sweltering summer heat. Unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived as the fan arrived defective and utterly lifeless. From the moment I unboxed it, the fan refused to power on, despite multiple attempts. It's motor seems only vibrating.The frustration of receiving a non-functional appliance led me to initiate a return process. Not only did this entail additional time and effort, but it also meant enduring more discomfort in the oppressive heat.This experience has left me deeply disappointed and disillusioned with the quality control processes of the manufacturer. One would expect that basic functionality, such as powering on, would be ensured before dispatching a product to a customer.In conclusion, receiving a defective fan that failed to function upon arrival has been a frustrating and inconvenient experience.

Writing experience from kerala. Fan is of avaerage quality. Even though name is crompton, it's of cheap chineese quality. Recieved all parts, but oscillation knob doesn't work. Disappointed. Please remember refund not available, only replacement with exact product available.

The pull push knob was not installed. It has LH threads. Took some time to figure out, align and fix.There was a loose part inside the plastic motor housing. After tilting and jugling , a small screw fell out.Whilst installing the front cover, I noticed 2 screws holding the Crompton plastic disc. The third was missing. Checked and found that it was the screw lodged in the motor. Unsucessful to fit because the hole in plastic portion had increased/ some defect.Do eliminate the stiff plastic wrapping... it would not come off easily.Alter the design, such that the three small screws be elimated.I liked the heavy synthetic base, the high quality powder coating.I do not know if there is power saving at lower speeds, if not fit an electronic pcb... operated by the same switching buttons.Noise level is relatively low. You should declare the db values at each speed.I checked a number of Fan specs before I choose this one. It hasa good, more than normal air flow.Its definetely worth the price!
