Got this for my work phone. It's got a nice lip that protrudes slightly above the screen so if you were to lay your phone face down you should be okay if there were very small pieces of debris on the surface. Pretty decent rubbery silicon texture but doesn't feel rubbery however gives you that extra grip one needs when holding their $500 phone. A++
