To me, better that using the thread, once you put them on and end place they do not move. With that being said, make sure they can "easily" go through the last eye without any hesitation. mj

I use 4 lb. test and these don't move when realed through the eyes of rod. Great product.

Just buy medium or larger.. even with braided line.

Reasonable purchase
I counted all them up and I had 47 holders and 282 stoppers. Only a few rubber stoppers off of what I purchased. Kinda annoying but not life ending. Came in 1 day and they are tight on my fluorocarbon line. Probably not the best for braided
