Inge Glas Christmas Pickle Gurken 10620S001 IGM German Blown Glass Christmas Ornament

I love it. I am always trying to think of new ways to add fun to family gatherings and had recently heard of the pickle tradition. I know no one in our family has heard of this so I will put it somewhere conspicuous the first year. I can't wait for someone to ask "why is there a pickle in the tree??" And then tell everyone the story and give an extra gift. We have 3 Christmas trees throughout the downstairs so hiding it in new places subsequent years will be very fun and hopefully a challenge to find. The ornament itself is a beautiful green, I was worried about it being too bright and looking cheap but it is a deep green with a lovely shine. I also love the star on top and matching hook, which I don't believe is pictured. Shipping was very fast, I placed the order Friday and it arrived Tuesday.

We had a skinny 6 foot tree this year and needed a pickle on the smaller side so it could be hidden properly. This ornament was perfect. It's also well made with a shiny finish and comes in a nice box. Definitely giftable to anyone. I know ours will be used for many years to come.

Great size which was typical of the German ornaments. The made in China ornaments were huge making it easy to find in the Christmas tree .

Great quality and super cute! They were a little smaller than I expected even though the size was clearly stated in the ad. I love the way they were boxed; complete with the history of the pickle ornament!

The ornament is beautiful. Perfect for our family tree and the kids loved lookin for it.

The pickle is very tiny, only 2.5 inches long. Very misleading as packaging size says 6 x 6 x6. Not worth the $14.00+ that I paid for each. One still had a price tag on it that said $10.75. I feel as thought this is a ripoff and will be returning them.

I have been looking for a pickle like this for a while. I grew up with the tradition of hiding the pickle, and this one looks just like the one my parents have. It came very well packaged, and the quality of the ornament is great! Highly recommend
