An amazing keyboard. The AiX chip produces a really good sound. The knob makes it really easy to use and all the features provided are definitely worth the budget . Its really easy to connect it to midi devices as well

This is an outstanding piece of kit and a steal at the current price (£189). All the focus seems to be on the CT-S1 at the moment but at this price I doubt the CT-S1 has anything more to offer than the CT-S400, especially for a beginner. This has the tone and rhythm bank from the widely-praised CT-X700 with the same new speaker system and key bed as the CT-S1. With the CT-S400 you also get the LCD screen and jog wheel to navigate the operating system. If you're not interested in all the arranger keyboard features then they sit very unobtrusively behind the sleek design. The sound is superb, it feels great to play and the build quality is solid. If you're currently dithering between this and the CT-S1 (or anything else in a similar price bracket), dither no longer, you won't be disappointed.

It didnt come with adapter although its wriiten that it will come with power supply

J'en étais resté au synthe / jouet des années 80, ben la claque ! Une qualité sonore et avec la possibilité de connexion avec une tablette / pc parfaite. C'est pour mon fils, mais je crois que je vais me prendre au jeux :)

Ich bin kein Keyboarder, hatte aber Lust, an einem Synthie rumzuspielen. Das ging erst mal ordentlich in die Hose, denn die Synthies, die ich ganz blauäugig als anfängertauglich kaufte, waren für mich zu kompliziert. Ich habe schnell erkannt, dass es nicht möglich ist, Sounds zu kreieren, ohne sich einzuarbeiten. Dazu habe ich aber keine Lust. Also musst ein Keyboard mit vielen Presets her, die man modulieren kann. Genau diesen Zweck erfüllt das Casio. Es gibt jede Menge gut verwertbarer Sounds, die man verändern kann. Sicherlich geht mehr, habe ich aber nicht ausprobiert. Wer ein simples, intuitiv bedienbares Keyboard mit vielen brauchbaren Sounds sucht, ist gut bedient. Tastatur ist OK, aber nicht mit einem guten Digital-Piano zu vergleichen. Gewicht mit etwas über 4 KG sehr gut. Verarbeitung: Plastik, aber recht solide. Die eingebauten Lautsprecher sind für zuhause brauchbar. Vorteil dieses Geräts im Vergleich zu anderen ist, dass es einen 6,5 Line-Ausgang hat (andere Geräte in diesem Preissegment haben häufig nur einen KH Ausgang mit Mini-Klinke). Das Keyboard kann also auch über einen Verstärker/eine PA/Gesangsanlage gespielt werden.
