Good fan
The fan is great. The blades have a nice tropical appeal. The remote is easy to use with three convenient speeds and there is a nice 'light on/off' control button as well. Fortunately. The light is like turning the sun on 6 feet from your face. Strikingly bright may be too kind. I am actually debating whether spray painting the glass light covering would dim it effectively and nicely enough. Otherwise, there will be no light usage on this fan.

Fan grind even after balancing them!!!
I bought three of these fans and all three the blade grind making loud noise. I tried balancing the blades with no luck. I have installed seven ceiling fans in the past month. These three were replaced because they were that bad.

Very beautiful, but wish it dimmed & lights stayed on
We've had this fan in our living room for a year. It's very beautiful, but sometimes I wish I kept looking until I found one that had a dimming feature. I like being able to change the light bulb color though, and the fan itself is quite quiet. We tried using a wall dimmer switch and it worked for the light, but then we couldn't use the fan at all. We went back to no dimmer and haven't had an issue, until recently. For no reason at all, the light will just go out, then turn back on some time later. Nothing happens when you press the remote or turn it on/off with the switch. The fan still works through this, but it's extremely frustrating to not have any light for no reason. Currently sitting in a very dark living room because the light won't turn back on.

Worst instructions ever
The worst instructions I've ever seen I have to try to hire somebody to come hook this up and I have hooked up a lot of ceiling fans you almost better buying something from a Kia and Swedish
