I bought this as a way to measure different items in standby and during different modes (washing machine on fast, eco, super eco etc) to see how much energy I’m using in a bid to curb my energy output to help save on bills.It allowed me to see that by using a smart switch to turn off my home entertainment system - I could easily save £40 a year electric.It also allowed me to see that there is a 400w difference per cycle of the washing machine, between super eco and normal mode (which I used to use). Add into that I now have a time of day tariff and it has again saved me rough £40 - so buying this has easily saved me a minimum of £120 (turning media unit off when not in use, and finding out actual usage for washing machine and dishwasher modes - saving nearly 350 kWh of electric a year).Smart features work really well, via the App, as well as Alexa integration.The only issue is, it doesn’t work through the Kasa TP link app - you have to have the Tapo app - which is a bit of a pain as I’ve built up an eco system of Kasa plugs.Not a huge problem - but a small pain - unless you control it directly through Amazon Alexa app or with a voice assistant like Alexa.Good product, which has already saved me over £100, but you don’t need it to know to turn your media unit off at the plug when not in use, and to also use the Eco modes on dishwashers and washing machines etc - I may have saved you that money by telling you my experiences!

I honestly couldn't be without these smart plugs now! I've got three of them and use them for different things around the house. They're really easy to set up and use, and the app makes it so simple to control everything.I particularly love the energy monitoring feature because I can actually see how much electricity different appliances are using, which is really useful for keeping an eye on my energy consumption.They're reliable, straightforward and have become one of those things I wonder how I managed without. I have just replaced a couple of Amazon Basics smart plugs with a pair of these. What an improvement! The Amazon plugs struggled to maintain a connection to my router. These seem to have greater wifi sensitivity/reliablity. Initial setup was considerably easier and the Tapo app is far more versatile. For example, I wanted an action to occur 90 minutes before sunset. Amazon limits this to 1 hour. Tapo has no such limit. And you get that amazing energy monitoring too. Good kit!

Having the ability to turn on/off the socket is really something very cool and convenient! I used them on my LED Grow lights, to provide light to plants when I’m not around the house for longer periods of time!

رهيب ريحني ريحني. مفيد لو تحتاج تشغل مكينة أو أداة كهربائية مسبقاً أو لو تبغى تقفلها بالتطبيق بالجوال. ما يحتاج تكون عنده تقدر تشغل الفيش أو تقفله حتى وانت مو موجود. من غير المميزات الثانية زي انك تحدد وقت للتشغيل التلقائي أو الإيقاف التلقائي سواء بتحديد الساعة اللي تبغاها أو كعد تنازلي.
